Hi Trevor,

We were also sorry to miss you and what a pity that we just missed the two Meerkats.
We had a wonderful time at Marrick and the night drives exceeded our expectations. We came to see aardvark, more in hope than expectation, so to see two on our first drive , the first a mere 10 minutes after setting out, was truly amazing. The other animals, two aardwolf, Smiths Rock Rabbit, a stripped polecat, a family of Porcupine and the meerkats just made our visit.
We spent our last evening watching the Meerkats (having worked out the approximate location of their burrow from previous sightings).
We should like to thank everyone for their friendliness and for going out of their way to ensure we had a memorable visit - and I must mention again the venison which was the best meat we have ever tasted.
We hope to return after the rains, when the pan has filled, for a different experience.
Again thanks for a memorable visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I am still working on my Danish---not easy. The comments have ranged from surprised to very surprised. Yes, it is true and there are no ''catches''. It is not a 'cheap' hunt because you get it all.
