The annual Adventure Festival 2024 is in Copenhagen 23-25th August

Friday at 2 pm the main stage opens. Bjørn Harvig, member of the Adventurers’ Club and host of the popular podcast series “Den Yderste Grænse” will be the host on stage and bring wonderful and fascinating stories into the spotlight.

Sophie Vartan and Mikkel Dal Hende (organizers of the festival) will talk about the vision for the festival, what they are most looking forward to over the weekend, as well as what you can experience and participate in 🙌🏼

✨Today is International Tea Day ☕️

🙌🏽 Coming from Assam, it is a special day for us as Assam is the single largest tea-growing region in the world.

➡️ Our tours include a visit to tea gardens and a tea processing centre!

😳 Assam produced tea amounting to over 269 million kilograms in fiscal year 2023. Crush, tear, and curl (CTC) tea was the most produced in the state with over 218 million kilograms that year.

🔎 The focus this year on International Tea Day is the role women play throughout the tea production chain, “from crop to cup.”!

The uniqueness of Northeast India always fascinates any visitor to this less trodded region. One such visitor was Mr Philipp Ackermann, German Ambassador to India and Bhutan, and this is what he had to say about Assam : 'The North-East is not as much on the agenda of European tourists as it should be'

According to Ackermann “choosing a favourite spot in India has always been a challenging task due to the country's rich tapestry of destinations” but among his numerous travels in 2023, “Assam stood out as one of the most scenic and enchanting regions”. (see attachment).

For the past 4 months I was rediscovering the region, and in this space you will find, over the next few weeks, travel notes on my exploration of north east India.

From the banks of Assam’s great river to the wilds of Kaziranga, it’s a rewarding journey through the state, one that many more should take

My presentation on northeast India titled “Unexplored Paradise “ that spoke of the niche experiences offered in the region . This was yesterday (18.10.23) at Cafe Globen in Copenhagen. A unique opportunity to interact with the global travelers.

India being the rising flavor, ZEITO and Platform K joined hands to have an “Indisk Dag” , or Indian Day, and on 1st October Horsens experienced a jam packed program on the essence of India. The event showcased the diversity of India in many ways , from a master class in Assam tea to the art of Mehendi, saree donning, chapati making to butter chicken . Of course , our Chai was a hit alongwith the ubiquitous savouries like Bombay Mix ! Thank you Ripudaman, Neelum Meisuria, Lea, Darshan and Johnny, Kirsten, Jan Lauritzen and all our guests who made it so special!
