Mulige udflugter i de nærliggende omgivelser San Fruttuoso, Portofino, Santa Margherita og Cinque Terre.
I Ligurien kan man bade i foråret (uden nødvendigvis at være viking), og sidde ude og nyde frokosten.

Mange tak til alle der har skrevet til mig paa min fødselsdag og deromkring :-)
Jeg håber i alle er kommet godt ind i 2024. Tine og jeg naaede lige hjem til Casa Lauridsen i tide til at fejre nytåret med et stykke rugbrød med tunfisk (fra en daase) og et glas champagne. 🍾

I hope you have all entered 2024 well. Tine and I just got home to Casa Lauridsen in time to celebrate the New Year with a piece of rye bread with tuna (from a can) and a glass of champagne.🍾

Er du fyrværkeri entusiast?
Hvis ja så er fyrværkerifesten i Recco et must at se.

I Recco, som ligger 5 km fra Camogli og Casa Lauridsen; afholdes hvert år en fyrværkerifest i september måned. Hvert aar d. 5, 6, 7 og 8. September afholdes denne fest, som ud over de fantastiske fyrværkerier, ja der er faktisk en stor byfest med stande og gastronomiske stande hvor man kan smage ikke kun på de lokale specialiteter, men også på specialiteter fra hele Italien. Der er helt 7 fyrværkerier over de 3 dage, hvert kvater i byen har deres eget og det er som sådan også en konkurrence om at lave det bedste.

D. 5 om aftenen skulle der blive åbnet for de gastronomiske stande.

Igen d. 6. aften er der åbent for de gastronomiske stande.

D. 7 starter festen med flaghejsning kl. 9.30 og kl. 12:00 åbner alle standene.
Det første fyrværkeri starter omkring kl 23:00 og skal man have alle 3 med så skal man ikke forvente at komme hjemad før efter 24:00.

Igen d. 8 allerede kl 12.00 starter festen op og allerede kl 12:30 er det det første af 2 fyrværkerier.
Kl. 23:00 er det tid igen og skal man have det hele med, ja så bliver det sent igen, hele 4 bliver det til.

Hele Recco og Camogli er naturligvis med i festen.

Det er en oplevelse for alle også de som ikke er specielt interesseret i fyrværkeri, det er en hel by der fester.

Programmet er endnu foreløbigt.

Casa Lauridsen is located close to picturesque centre of Camogli with real Italian charm in Liguria, Italy. The area is attractive, with numerous possibilities for excursions and leisure activities.
Possible excursions in the nearby surroundings are Sanfruttoso, Portofino, Santa Magherita, Rapallo. Take a boat trip around the Portofino Peninsula from "Golfo del Paradiso" to "Golfo di Tigulio" and stop in one or more of these towns. You can also reach the various towns along excellent hiking trails through the nature reserve of the Portofino Peninsula.
"The 5 terre" is almost an obligatory destination. The 5 small villages are arranged like pearls on a chain. The best way to get there is to take the train to Monterosso and then follow the "Strada del amore" that goes through the other 4 villages. In the evening you can return to Camogli by train or boat. However, good footwear (hiking shoes) is necessary for this hike. Genoa's old town offers many interesting sights and shopping opportunities, and the recently renovated Genoa docks and one of the largest aquariums in Europe are well worth a visit. Genoa can be reached by excursion boat, train or car.

How to reach Casa Lauridsen?
You can reach us by car, train. Camogli train station is only 800 meters from Casa Lauridsen
Genoa Airport is only about 30 km from Camogli. From here you can reach Camogli by train or taxi. Pisa airport is another option, just 2 hours from Camogli. Parking is possible just outside the apartments.

Camogli is located in the province of Liguria and is well known for its exceptionally good cuisine. Who does not know "Pesto alla Genovese", "Panserotto alle noce" and the delicious seafood. Liguria continues to offer good wines, especially the white wines are very good. But the icing on the cake is definitely olive oil, which with its mild but full flavor cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Liguria is separated from the nearby provinces by mountains, which at the same time keep the cold winds from the Poslettes and the Alps, making Liguria's climate very attractive. And not only in the summer months, but also well into October and November, when a real Viking can still enjoy the sun and swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Spring starts early in Liguria, which is why Liguria is also called "Riva dei fiore" (flower coast).

Yesterday the last kiwis were picked, we had left some fruits over the winter for the birds, especially the nightingale loves kuwi seeds. Now there are only a few left that we couldn't reach.
Soon there are new green leaves, that provide a pleasant shadow under the gazebo. Exelent place to an afternoon aperitivo.

Casa Lauridsen is located only 10 min. walk on a closed path system from Camogli center and the beach. Here there is direct access to hiking trails in the nature reserve of the Portofino peninsula and the neighboring Ligurian Apennines.
