2 days ago this cute family from California, wanted to discover the 'Hygge' in Copenhagen.🤗 Although most of the places were closed due to the Christmas holiday. They still got the 'Hygge ' experience by my guidance.

I love the holiday of lights. It's Christmas 🎄 & Today is the first candle 🕯️ of Hanukkah 🕎 For the first time since 2005 and only the fifth time since 1900, Christmas and the first night of Hanukkah overlap this year. “Chrismukkah”or " Hanukkristmas :).

ג'רלדין - קולומביאנית מקסימה יצרה איתי קשר ביום שישי שעבר לקבלת סיור באותו היום. מה שהיה נחוץ ורצוי זה סיור לא שגרתי בקופנהגן- סיור ברכב.
אספתי אותת ואת השותף המקסים שלה אלכס ממוזיאון Glyptotek בו הם סיימו לסייר ושם חיכתה לנו לימוזינה מדליקה עם נהג מקסים בשם קים .
אלכס , איש עסקים לשעבר, הוא יהודי שביקר כמה וכמה פעמים לנסיעות עסקיות בארץ ואף למד בישיבה אז שילבתי סיפורים על הצלת יהודי דנמרק בזמן השואה. קים הנהג הוא ממוצא פרסי אז היה הרבה מן המשותף מכל הבחינות. בקיצור היתה חוויה מופלאה ,שונה, שזורה גם בקווי דמיון שקרובים אליי כ'כ תרבותית . תודה על יום נפלא!
והכי ריגש אותי הריוויו שלהם . - בשביל זה אני עושה את מה שאני עושה כמדריכת טיולים .❤️🤍💙

Geraldine - a lovely Colombian woman contacted me last Friday for a same day tour. What was necessary and desirable was an unusual tour in Copenhagen - a car tour.
I picked her and her lovely partner Alex up from the Glyptotek museum where they had finished touring and there was a cool limousine waiting for us with a lovely driver named Kim.
Alex, a former businessman, is a Jew who visited Israel several times on business trips and even studied in a yeshiva, so I combined stories about the rescue of Danish Jews during the Holocaust. Kim the driver is of Persian origin so there was a lot in common from all aspects . In short it was a wonderful experience, different & intertwined with similarities that are so culturally close to me.

אתמול היה לי סיור ממש 'הוגה' ולמה? כי המשפחה האמריקאית המתוקה הזאת רצתה ספציפית Hygge' discovery walk in Copenhagen.
האמא הלן עובדת בחנות פרחים בשיקגו. ו💐הם בהחלט חחחלק מ'ההוגה' כאן. מסכימים?
Yesterday I had a really an 'hyggelit' tour and why? Because this sweet American family specifically wanted an 'Hygge discovery walk in Copenhagen.'
The mother Ellen works in a flowers shop in Chicago. And 💐 they are definitely are part of the the 'Hygge' here. agree?🌹🌷💚

לפני כשבוע היה לי סיור מיוחד, מגוון ורב תרבותי. חמישה אנשי שיווק , מילה (מילגרוס) מוונצאולה שהיא ואני הרגשנו כאילו נפגשנו כבר בעבר... ניקולה מרומניה , קלרה מצרפת- שלושתם גרים בהולנד . שרה מגרמניה וקתרינה משוויץ. כולם חלק מצוות של חברת שיווק אירופאית שהגיעו לקופנהגן במסגרת עבודה ורצו סיור ערב שיכלול גם משחק של גיבוש חברתי ביניהם.
אז שילבתי בכמה נקודות עצירה משימות בסגנון "Your mission should you choose to accept it.
היה מרתק וכיפי ביותר. כ'כ התלהבתי מהתוצאות שאני מתכוונת לשלב זאת בטיולי קבוצות ומשפחות.

About a week ago I had a special, diverse and multicultural tour. Five marketing people, Mila (Milagros) from Venezuela, she and I felt as we had met before... Nicola from Romania, Clara from France - all three live in the Netherlands. Sara from Germany and Katrina from Switzerland. They are all part of a team of a European marketing company who came to Copenhagen as part of work and wanted an evening tour that would also include a game of team building activity between them.
So I combined tasks along the lines of "Your mission should you should to accept it" at several stopping points.
It was fascinating and extremely fun. I was so enthusiastic about the results that I intend to incorporate it into group and family trips.

הדרכתי אתמול זוג פנסיונרים כזה מקסים מארה''ב,
מולי ורוב הגיעו לכמה שעות לקופנהגן במסגרת קרוז שהם עורכים . מולי עסקה במשאבי אנוש ורוב הוא מתחום הבנייה.
היה כיף כל כך. מולי טיפוס שכ'כ אוהב לעזור -ככה באמצע הסיור הציעה את עזרתה בצילום של זוגות ומשפחות והזכירה לי את עצמי בדאגתה לאסוף אשפה מהרצפה .
Yesterday I guided such a charming retired couple from the USA,
Molly & Rob arrived for a few hours to Copenhagen as part of a cruisein EU. Molly was dealing with HR and Rob is in from the construction field
It was so much fun. Molly is the type who loves to help so much - so in the middle of the tour she offered her help in photographing couples and families and reminded me of myself in her concern to pick up trash from the floor.

לפני כשבועיים היה לי סיור מיוחד עם אדם מיוחד. זהו מוקאש, איש עסקים הודי בתחום ה IT שעבר עם משפחתו לפני מס' שנים לדובאי.
הוא עורך טיול באירופה ושלח לי בקשה לסיור בן 4 שעות בקופנהגן .כשנפגשנו בכיכר העירייה, אמרתי לו שאהבתי את זה שביקש 4 שעות ( סיור בסיסי הוא בן 3 שעות) ואפשרי בהחלט להאריך ל 6 שעות ולעשות יום סיור מלא והוא התלהב והסכים מיד .
היה ממש תענוג ומרתק איתו. בהחלט אדם בעל מידות טובות. תודה על יום מושלם ועל פידבק מרגש.

About two weeks ago I had a special tour with a special person. This is Mukesh, an Indian IT businessman who moved with his family to Dubai several years ago.
He is making a trip to Europe and sent me a booking request for a 4-hours tour in Copenhagen. When we met at City Hall Square, I told him that I liked that he requested 4 hours (a basic tour is 3 hours long) and that it is absolutely possible to extend it to 6 hours and do a full day walking tour, and he was enthusiastic and immediately agreed.

I wanted to share some aesthetics & colours 🌹✨🌈🎨
I came back home to Copenhagen last weekend after 2 weeks in Florida. My last connection flight was via Amsterdam.
I had in the past Dutch clients who told me they do 'hygge' too and it called in dutch 'gezellig'. You say 'chezelech' though...🙃totally unfonetic language like the Danish...
I definitely felt the ',hygge' in this shop in the duty free. I love Tulip so much 🌷 .What about you ?
There is definitely some smiliraties between the 2 cities. After all The king Christian the 4th loved Holland and a lot of the buildings he built were inspired by it. ' Christianhavn' ,f.x( Christian's harbor) is a copy of Amsterdam canal. He was inspired by it.
