The road was practicable few days ago, but this time it's the official opening of the new direct road between Bavaro and Miches whose path will be approximately 1 hour. This is very good news for the excursion Whales watching from Miches, south of Samana Bay starting on January 15. It is also good for those from Bayahibe, since there will be less than 2 hours to go to Miches. It is also good for the Tropical tour crossing the mountain and then follow the coast, the Laguna Limon VIP tour and in a few months for the tour Los Haitises with its extension to Sabana de la Mar.

We found a volunteer with some free time to administer our pages and groups on Facebook in the first instance, on Google+ in less than a month, the time required for Google to admit as administrator.

Yuma VIP tour. From 6 to 8 people.

Today I present you a tour that I created in 2006 and for a long time I was the only one to bring tourists to the area. Over time it has just changed a bit, we will no longer go on the small beach, a little dirty and now the restaurant's owner has created a beautiful new one with a pool.

The transport vehicle will pick up you on the reception of your Bavaro hotel around 7am depending on the location of your hotel and other hotels participating people and take you to the small fishing village of Boca de Yuma still authentic. If you are in a hotel in Bayahibe, the vehicle will pick up you around 7:30.
From here we embark on a small fishing boat up the river to see the wild nature and try to see iguanas that live in the rocks, it is not guaranteed, but in general we see somes, to see better it is advisable to have binoculars or a camera with zoom. After this small ride on the river we will visit the village by foot. Then we will go to what is also called a natural pool in reality a hole where the sea water rushes under the rocks to form a basin. Here we take the opportunity to quench our thirst and taste a local specialty based on seafood product.
Then we continue to the Cueva de Bernard, a wild cave in the boundary east park.
Then it's time to restore us in a seafront restaurant with swimming pool where you can relax.
Around 3pm we leave to visit the Ponce de Leon Museum in San Rafael de Yuma, who was the governor of the province in the Columbus conquest but mostly he discovered Florida.

Excursion buggy 4 seats since Bavaro or Bayahibe. Un half day or full day with horseback riding.

The transport vehicle will pick up you from the reception of your Bavaro hotel around 7:30 depending the location of your hotel and other hotels participating people and take you to the small village of Benerito where is the starting point of the buggy. If you are in a hotel in Bayahibe, the vehicle will pick up you around 8:30.
From there we will go to the sugar cane fiels with these buggy 4 seats, if you are a couple you will be only 2 in the buggy, if not children or friends will be with you if you wish. In the fields of sugar cane you learn a little more about labors, sugarcane cutters, visit a batey (Haitians cutters village) ... and then we drive to a ranch on the Chavon river. In this ranch you will see wild nature and local productions that you enjoy, you can bath in the river with a cup in hand. Then back to the base of Benerito.
For those of Bayahibe half day the vehicle will take you back to the hotel. For those of Punta Cana with or without a horseride and those of Bayahibe with horseride you will eat at the edge of a quiet pool lost in the countryside. Here we take the opportunity to quench our thirst and taste a Dominican specialty. You can of course enjoy the pool as you want.

At 3pm to those with horseback ride option we visit the surrounding countryside and the village of Benerito where the others will join us with the vehicle.
Together we will be greeted by a Dominican family around a treat and a cup of coffee, so you can see a typical home and see how they live. Children will make a typical show with local instruments.

Then the vehicle will take you back to the hotel.

Laguna Limon VIP tour from 6 to 10 people.

This time we present an existing tour for many years and abandoned in 2008 due to the bad state of the road between Higuey and Miches with in particular several bridges broken. Finally a new route comes to the day and better it starts on Macao, ie the gates of the big hotels in Bavaro. Horseback riding to come back to the restaurant, contact with local and a very good meals with varied ensalads, meat, and prawns Caribbean.
In the afternoon ride in an all terrain vehicle to ascent the "Redonda" mountain providing exceptional views of the surroundings.

Upon exiting the vehicle awaits us to take you back to the hotel. We can stop on the Vacana Beach if the group want.

Tropical Eco-tour, the true Ecotourism tour going around the Eastern mountains.

This time it is the turn of another land excursion that I created in 2007 and I am the only one to do it. This tour takes you through an area not frequented by mass tourism, more I've adapted it to be classified as eco-tourism with the support of a local association.

The transport vehicle will pick up you from the reception of your Bavaro hotel around 7am depending on the location of your hotel and other hotels participating people and take you to the small village of Cruce de Pavon, crossing roads between Higuey and La Romana to El Seibo. If you are in a hotel in Bayahibe, the vehicle will pick up you at 7:45. It is in this village that you visit a gathering point for cane sugar embarkation on wagons, this is also where the vehicle from Bayahibe will join the Bavaro one. Yo will learn more about the sugar cane cutters and Haitians cutters. Then towards El Seibo with its leisurely tour because the city is without mass tourism.

Then towards Pedro Sanchez our great stop to see Eco touristic village, the school, balnéarium, a culture of Cocoa, Coffee and fresh fruits snack. And typical meals with fresh garden products.
Then towards the mountain, we pass near a waterfall and the culmination of the eastern mountain beginning north of Higuey and ending with the Haitises Park. We stop to see from the top Miches Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, if it is not cloudy we shall see Samana, the Montaña Redonda and lagoons there.
Then we will go to Miches and then along the coast to Bavaro by the new road.

Note: if you are in a hotel in Bavaro in the morning you will go through Higuey, the capital of the province of La Altagracia where Punta Cana is, if you're on Bayahibe it will on return in the evening. The Basilica visit is free and following the desire of everyone.

Utilisation conditions of our groups and pages.

A- Pages:
Companies can not intervene in our pages for any reason whatsoever.
Individuals must be limited to responding as a comment following a subject already opened by an collaborator and this in the language of the page, ie here in English. Have something to write but you do not write well in English, no problem send us your text in Spanish or French and we will translate, then you can publish it yourself as it is.

1. Touristic companies:
Generally companies can not intervene in our conversations except to promote themselves under conditions we list below:
Tourism business in the Dominican Republic, as group member, who want to pass ads in our RepDom.Us group (any promotion in our pages will be deleted) will do it for free, but please be aware that we do not accept ads from individuals.
In this group the ads will be in English only with the correct spelling (as such we can help you with translations), include the complete adress and legal datas if it is not done in your website.
Companies that want to promote their tourist trade will provide first their RNC number, national trade register, and tax number.
Tour Operators and travel agencies with a tourism license, will simply provide a copy of this license.
The local travel agencies unlicensed by tourism ministry will provide their legal accreditation as travel agency in addition of the RNC and NCF.

Because we do not want advertising overwhelms the important information that could help tourists, we will limit quantity in different ways:
- Each advertiser must compromise to agree to receive positive or negative reviews and to receive a grade of classification given by three components: our area manager that evaluates such as dynamic tourism company, our anonymous inspectors who visited major ones and will visit the news one, and then ultimately the real customers that will give them notes and also their review.
- To pass a second announcement, the first must have received 20 reviews from real guests members of our group. So on for the others. If a company receives a lot of reviews from our members it can do more promotion because it interests our members. However, initially we will limit the ads to one per month regardless of the number of reviews.

Saona excursion yacht 6 to 8 persons. In option deserted beach.

Today we present an exceptional excursion Saona that is the largest island of the Dominican Republic and the tour most required in the east hotels from Punta Cana to Boca Chica. Saona but not like that sold in those places where you are crammed on boats and with many people on the beaches.
This takes you to the island in small yacht under 9 people and more you go on several beaches including the most distant, the Canto de la Playa Beach also called Doctor Beach, the paradise beach. Optionally you can go on a deserted beach a little further.

The transport vehicle will collect guests from the reception of your Bavaro hotel between 6:15 and 6:45 depending on the location of your hotel and other hotels participating people and take you to the Bayahibe village for shipping before 8:15. If you are in a hotel in Bayahibe a taxi will pick you up before 8am.
Before boarding the yacht you'll meet the tour operator owners responsible for the tour and it is to him that you give the rest to pay.
You will go towards the natural pool on this boat private for your group to see starfish and learn a little more about the park with a drink friendship even without the crowds hordes of tourists.
Then you will bypass the island of Saona, passing front catamarans beaches and Mano Juan fishing village that you visit in the afternoon, and finally land on the most beautiful beach of Canto de la Playa.

You will go towards the natural pool on this boat private for your group to see starfish and learn a little more about the park with a drink friendship even without the crowds hordes of tourists.
Then you will bypass the island of Saona, passing front catamarans beaches and Mano Juan fishing village that you visit in the afternoon, and finally land on the most beautiful beach of Canto de la Playa.
Upon arrival you will be offered some nibbles and drinks.
If you took the option deserted beach with an attendant of our group, I suggest you go until noon on a quiet and deserted beach, not too far to snorkel with mask and snorkel.
In return we will have a small drink and again you have 2 options:
- Eat right on the beach, without tables, while other large vessels are obliged to eat elsewhere.
- Or take a snack on the beach, enjoy the beach until 1:30pm and became quiet before other boats arrive, and eat in the fishing village on tables.
The menu: lobster, pork ribs, salad, potatoes, fruits and drinks (water, coke, beer, and rum ...).
After lunch you can swim or snorkel yet either in Canto or the village.
The fishing village visit is planned, but let me point out that the visit included what the majority wants, I'll explain on the spot what there is and then you decide, nothing is imposed as in other trips, each group decides.
We leave the village to a bench colorful fish and go front the protected mangroves and I'll explain why. Finally we return to the natural pool for the last drink. There is no obligation to stay seen the hordes of tourists who will be present when the group decides we go to Bayahibe.
Then the vehicle will take you back to your hotel.
