The Nazca Lines are one of Peru's ancient mysteries!
These massive geoglyphs, discovered in Peru's desert, were created by the Nazca people.
It's interesting that they are only visible from above.
- So, why were they made? 🤔
Some believe they served as offerings to gods or were meant for celestial navigation, visible only from the sky.
Recently, 303 new unknown geoglyphs were uncovered. A lot of them are very small - between three to seven meters.
They mainly represent wild animals but also include gory figures.
Researchers believe that these geoglyphs were made by humans for humans, and they often show scenes from everyday life!
The exact purpose remains a mystery, but their stunning designs continue to captivate 💫
