We have never seen so many sea lions🦭, as on San Cristobal. They are everywhere: on the street, on the beach and sometimes on terraces. Don’t think that these animals will step aside for you. Galapagos is in the hands of the animals and people have to adapt to them. Actually as it should be.

Tip: Do not stand in the sea lion droppings! It smells really bad and you can still smell it a month later...💩

We zagen nog nooit zoveel zeeleeuwen🦭, als op San Cristobal. Overal liggen ze: op straat, op het strand en soms op terrassen. Denk maar niet dat deze dieren voor je opzij gaan. Galapagos is in handen van de dieren en mensen moeten zich aan hen aanpassen. Eigenlijk zoals het hoort.

Tip: Sta niet in de zeeleeuwenpoep! Het stinkt enorm en je ruikt het een maand later nog...💩 .nl

Dear friends
I hope this message finds you well. Given the changing circumstances in Ecuador, the Ministry of Tourism and we at Galapagos Best are committed to keep you updated on the latest developments affecting our tourism sector and general security.

Highlights:

● The implementation of Executive Orders 110 and 111 has significantly improved the ability of our security forces to ensure the safety of both citizens and visitors.
● A notable decrease in national security incidents has been observed since January 10, reflecting the effectiveness of recent operations.
● All tourist services operate normally and all transport infrastructure, including airports and roads, are fully functional with reinforced security measures.
I (Fausto) have been following up the international headlines which most of them are yellow and being sensationalist and making us look like almost like we are in a deep extreme situation.

We are operating our groups as normal with all the security measurements to ensure the well being of all our visitors. Arm forces and police have taking control of jails and the most important thing is that the President of Ecuador is leading the country with an excellent leadership.
