Are you wondering what is the best way to get to Porvoo if you don't have your own car?

🚌 - The best and easiest way is by bus. There is frequent bus service daily from Helsinki and the journey takes about 50 minutes.

🛥 - In summer it's also possible to go there by ship. m/s J.L. Runeberg departs from Helsinki Market Square and cruises through the beautiful archipelago. The journey takes around 3 hours.

🚂 - On Saturdays, during summer, you can also get to Porvoo with an authentic Finnish railcar from the 1950s. The journey takes around 1,5 hours. The museum train's schedule is designed so you have plenty of time to explore Porvoo before it returns back to Helsinki.

🚲- Another options is to go to Porvoo by bicycle. The distance is about 50 kilometers and can be done as a day trip but it would be best to take a bus or ship one of the directions or spend a night there.
