Our first tour was organized in 2014 in Tartu. The street art tours are based on the experience gained through coordinating street art events and collaborating with the artists, as well as thorough research on the Estonian and international street art scene from 2012 until today. Täna külastas meiega Telliskivi loomelinnakut vahva Tuum kollektiiv, kellega jalutasime läbi ka mõned sealsed varjulisemad kohad, mis sellise ilmaga olid ilmselgelt tõelised maasikad. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🍓☀️

Today we went visiting Telliskivi Creative City with a lovely group from Tuum. Walked through some of the shadier spots. True gems, especially in this weather.

Külla tulid kahe sõpruskooli õpilased ja õpetajad Saksamaalt ning Hispaaniast. Huvitaval kombel läksid mõlemad seltskonnad automaatselt oma nurka ning see tegi hiljem palju nalja. Tuuri lõpetasime .k2kk hõrgutisi maitsmas.

Students and teachers of the two friendship schools from Germany and Spain came to visit Estonia. Interestingly, both groups automatically went to their respective corners, which was very funny afterwards. We ended the tour again tasting .k2kk delicacies.

A group of ✨ teachers ✨ from our guide Salme's highschool explored the world of street art yesterday at . It was such a enjoyable time, everyone had a wide range of knowledge of this art form and sharing thoughts turned the tour into an interesting discussion. Thank you!

Vanessa Zhu in Tartu

Last week a Chinese travel blogger Vanessa Zhu visited Estonia. Her trip was followed by a moto #estonianway and Vanessa's personal guide Vidrik Korp pointed out that the way of Estonian art is street art. This resulted in an obligatory trip to Estonia's street art capital Tartu. In addition to a tour and a rendez-vous with an artist from Piiritus, Vanessa got a stencil workshop. The rooster symbolizes the ABC book which is all about language. And what is street art - a univeral language. The rooster is standing on some Mandarin symbols and made-up Estonian symbols that refer to this memorable meet-up! Thank you Alari Teede, EAS and Baltic Tours!
