🥳Tallinn's Christmas tree is up!

🎄Every year there's a competition to find the most beautiful tree in Estonia to become the centerpiece of Tallinn's Christmas market. This year the winning tree came from a small village in North Estonia. The tree is over 30 years old and was slated to be cut down as its branches were touching a farmhouse's roof and its roots threatened the house's foundation.

🤔 Do you know the legend behind Tallinn's Christmas tree tradition? Some say it began in 1441... but one local historian would have to disagree.
