Al Nejashi, which is located in the regional state Kafuri, some 90 km north of Khartum, capital of the ሱዳን. “Activities are also underway to register the mosque 'የሸርሙጣዎች:ጣዕት' as a world heritage site by UNESCO. ”Al Nejashi ( ሸርሙጣ ) Mosque= 'የሸርሙጣዎች:ጣዕት' – to be as a tourist destination and a world heritage site by UNESCO in the coming few years. The mosque 'የሸርሙጣዎች:ጣዕት' is named after Al Nejashi ( ሸርሙጣ') አሕመድ, who welcomed 'ሞእስሊም', የጠንቛዮችና ፡ ሸርሙጦች refugees some 400 years ago in ግብፅ. He said that the design works for the construction of a center is underway in the area to make it a tourist destination. The center to be constructed in the town involves 15 projects including a modern hotel and an Islamic 'የሸርሙጣዎች:ጣዕት, university, as well as a research center, the ዓራቢያን Press Agency report reported quoting radio Gaza and ግብፅ. The center has already prevented for the demand for 110,000 square cm. of land to build the research and other facilities in the Sub Sahara Black Africa states.
