We welcomed two customers from New Jersey, U.S.A recently traveled to Cairo, Egypt and explored some great sites including Old Cairo, two museums, Bazaar, the Giza Pyramids & Sphinx, and Saqqara. They enjoyed this amazing time with our colleague provided who served as a tour guide in addition to having a Deaf driver for the wonderful 2 days that they were there. The location they were in was safe and we are glad that everything went perfect πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¬ Sari & Jonathan with Egypt Deaf Travel

We just finished our Farewell Party with our travel group. It was an amazing time at tonights reception dinner along with chatting about our memories and highlights from our 10 day trip in Egypt that went incredibly fast – a blink of an eye. We wish you all a safe journey to your home.

We had a fun and enjoyable time together with the Deaf travellers from the Deaf-owned travel agency on our recent trip together. We visited many places together that had many activities, especially in the Nubian Valley where you can ride camels and get hand-painted henna art. We also ate great cuisine and experienced the beauty of Egyptian culture.

This picture shows our recent group from the November 7th, 2023 Farewell Party where we partnered with a Deaf-owned travel agency with Deaf tourists from both the U.S. and Canada. We traveled for 11 days throughout Egypt including Alexandria, Cairo, Aswan, and a Nile River cruise from Aswan to Luxor. This is the second travel group from this agency that visited Egypt, the first group visited last year. Thank you for hiring a Deaf local from Egypt for your recent tour; we are grateful for the partnership with your agency.

We recently flew on Egyptair from Cairo to Aswan. We had an amazing time taking a felucca boat to visit the Nubian Valley which is a natural area to view that has colorful houses, a small market with spices, and our travellers had fun rides on the camels.

On our most recent trip to Egypt, our team of staff supported a total of 40 travellers which included hearing and Deaf individuals. We had an interpreter for the American/Mexican group and a Chinese tour guide who was able to interpret between ASL and Chinese Sign Language. Pictured here are staff members Sean O ßrien, Chin Laurie, and Maged Nabawy with Egypt Deaf Travel at the Abu Simbel Temple.

We are happy that a Deaf travel group from China along with an exceptional Deaf Chinese tour guide, who is able to interpret between ASL and Chinese Sign Language, could join us to experience the beauty of Egypt. They joined us starting in Cairo where we visited many sites including the pyramids, museums, and historical religious sites; we then continued to Aswan, then to the Nile Cruise which sailed starting in Aswan and ending in Luxor, and lastly Hurghada to experience relaxing leisure time which is a beach resort city located on the Red Sea.

I would like to say, β€œthank you” to both Crystal and Lesa. Crystal came to visit Egypt two times, once in 2019. She reminded her friends about the trip as a group. Lesa often talked about planning and arrangements of trips with a group. I really appreciate both of them for supporting us through my business travel agency, Egypt Deaf Travel, for two days with a group in Cairo. Our colleague, Mohamed R. (a CODA), was our tour guide within Cairo. His sign language and ASL skills were exceptional and could hold perfect conversations and facilitate a lot of information of ancient Egyptian history.
