Happy New Year, with best wishes for success, but that does not make us forget people on the other side of the world. Children above the ground lost their families and became orphans, and children below the ground carry sweets in their hands and do not eat them. Bereaved mothers who lost their families are widows. A people without shelter, without food, without water, but they are strong and patient, all of this because they want freedom despite the abuse and massacres. Let us pray for them and not forget them. In the midst of our celebration, we wish a new year free of blind brutality and a return to man and his right to life and freedom.
