Obelisk of Thutmose III
In Rome, known as the "Lateran Obelisk"
Thutmose III ordered its carving
In memory of his victories in Kadesh 1440 BC
Thutmose III died before completing her sculpture
He completed its sculpture and erected it by his grandson Thutmose IV
And erected in front of the eastern side of the Karnak Temple
Its height at the time was 32 meters, and it is one of the tallest Egyptian obelisks
During the Roman occupation of Egypt
Constantine I transported it to Alexandria and then shipped it to me
Constantinople, his new capital
The obelisk remained in Alexandria for a long time after the death of Constantine I
And his son, "Constantius II", moved it in the year 350 AD to Rome
The obelisk remained in the Circus Maximus until it collapsed and was destroyed
In the sixth century AD
In 1587, Pope Sixtus V removed the earth from the obelisk
He ordered it to be restored and erected in its current location
And he ordered to place the cross, the sacred Christian symbol, on top of it
Which symbolizes the end of paganism in Christianity
And a new base was made on which to mention the baptism
Constantine the Great
The obelisk is considered a masterpiece from the time of the largest empire in the world
The ancient...the Kemite Empire
Its features have been changed by placing religious symbols on it
This may be for the purpose of proving that Egypt is a Christian country
And they called it the Coptic state, a symbol of its Christianity
Coptic is a race...not a bear
As we said and explained before
It symbolizes the one who lives in the land of the god Ptah
Our treasures .. and our effects spread in all parts of the world
And everyone wants to eat from the Egyptian tortilla
And everyone who has no origin or civilization wants to attribute himself to falsehood
To the greatest civilization known to mankind
