(4)Picasso triggerfish
The Picassofish is truly a work of art! Not only does it have a strange oblong shape, but the sporadic blocks of colors are reminiscent of the work created by the artist for which the fish is named.
The goats of the marine world, triggerfish scour the coral reefs for anything edible – algae, crustaceans, worms, snails and even eggs.
The Picassofish is fascinating to observe, swimming swiftly as it moves each eye independently to track prey and chomps with its sharp teeth once it finally gets its sought-after snack.
Also known as the reef triggerfish, this artistic animal is abundant in the Red Sea and even ranges as far as Hawaii, where it is the official state fish.

(3) Emperor shrimp
One of the tiniest animals that lives in the Red Sea, the emperor shrimp is truly shrimpy at less than a half inch in length.
It lives on sea cucumbers as well as nudibranchs (colorful, slug-like invertebrae), but it's far from a pest to these creatures. Indeed, its main diet is parasites and algae, earning it the nickname of "cleaner shrimp." Other ocean creatures will even open up their homes to these housekeeping shrimp – not a bad deal!
A colorful species of shrimp, the emperor shrimp is intriguing to inspect if you can get a close enough view.
🎬 Where to watch birds in Wadi el-Gemal National Park and Neighboring Areas:
The Eastern Desert of Egypt lies in the driest part of the Sahara, with less than 5mm average annual rain fall. However, because of its rugged mountainous terrain, meager vegetation occurs in runnels and wadis (dry riverbeds) where rainwater concentrates. this scant vegetation supports a modest diversity of uniquely desert birds fauna.
(1) Resident Breeding Birds.
there are about 47 species of birds known to breed in WGNP and adjoining regions. thirty three of theses are desert-adapted species. the most commonly seen resident species in the desert are Brown-necked Raven, and Desert and Hoopoe larks. In the scattered human habitations, Palm, Pink-headed, and collard doves can be seen .

(3) Spotted unicornfish
Unicorns may not exist, but unicornfish do! It's easy to see how this intriguing creature gets its name.
An algae eater in the coral reef, the spotted unicornfish lives in a small herd of sorts. They sport nose-like horns, but unlike other fish with similar protrusions, they don't use them to fight.
Unicornfish aren't just magical by name – they can do magic by changing colors! Unicornfish can be seen suddenly changing hue during the breeding season.

(2) Pyjama slug
This neon nudibranch slowly makes its way along the coral reef in the Red Sea. With a slimy body and funny gills, it's one of the oddest marine animals in its environment. The horn-like tentacles are more than just silly appendages – they can feel, taste and smell.
Sea slugs typically eat coral and sponges and often resemble their prey. Many are brightly colored to warn of toxicity.
Thousands of nudibranchs adorn the oceans around the world. They're truly a gem of the Red Sea.

(1) Masked puffer
A native to the Red Sea, the masked puffer is a comical fish with markings resembling those of a panda, earning it the additional nickname of "Panda Puffer." Floating along coral reefs, the masked puffer has an odd way of decorating its home: with s***m. The secretion allows it to hide from visibility as well as from predators that may be trying to sniff it out.
Pufferfish are among the most poisonous vertebrates in the world, and certainly in the ocean, when eaten. Yet the meat of certain pufferfish is a delicacy in East Asian cuisine. We'll stick to observing it from afar for now.

تدخلت محميات البحر الأحمر وبالتنسيق مع محافظة البحر الأحمر والمنتفعين فى المنطقة حيث تم إعداد خطة إدارة
للمنطقة وتكوين فريق علمى لدراسة الدلافين، وتم الاتفاق على تنفيذ خطة إدارة عام ٢٠٠٤ . بعد عام من تنفيذ خطة
الإدارة، زاد متوسط أعداد الدلافين من ٣٢ إلى ٧٨ دلفين يوميًا، وأوضح برنامج الرصد البيئى تحسن ملحوظ فى
معدلات نمو الشعاب المرجانية بالمنطقة، كما زادت معارفنا عن سلوك الدلافين، واقتصرت أعداد الزوار إلى ٢٠٠
زائر يوميًا فقط، ووصلت الرسوم فى أول ٢٠٠٥ إلى مايقرب ٣ مليون جنيه، هذا بالإضافة إلى التحسن المستمر فى
السياحة بمنطقة مرسى علم،استمر تنفيذ خطة الإدارة وتفعيل أنشطة جمعية أهلية (أبو
سلامة) أنشئت خصوصًا للدلافين وبالشراكة مع جميع المنتفعين بالمنطقة الأمر الذى أدى إلى استمرار تواجد الدلافين
بصورة مستمرة ، فوصلت إلى حوالى ١٢٠ دولفين خلال فترة الصيف، ونجحت الدراسات التى أجريت فى تحديد
موسم تزاوج الدلافين، وموسم لإضافة الصغار إلى مجتمع الدلافين، هذا بالإضافة إلى التعرف على غذاء الدلافين
والذى يتكون من الأسماك والقشريات وبعض الرخويات (الحبار).

The Red Sea nature Reserve organizations intervened, in coordination with the Red Sea Governorate and the beneficiaries in the area, where a management plan was prepared
through a formation of a scientific team to study dolphins, and it was agreed to implement a management plan for the year 2004. A year after the plan has started, the average number of dolphins increased from 32 to 78 dolphins per day, and the Environmental Monitoring Program showed a significant improvement in
The growth rates of coral reefs in the area, and our knowledge of dolphin behavior increased. The number of visitors was limited to 200
daily visitors only, and the fees in early 2005 amounted to approximately 3 million pounds, in addition to the continuous improvement in
Tourism in Marsa Alam region.
The implementation of the management plan continued along with the activities of the NGO (Abu ٍ Salama .) which
was established especially for dolphins and in partnership with all beneficiaries of the region, that led to the continued presence of dolphins
Continuously, it reached about 120 dolphins during the summer period, and the studies conducted succeeded in identifying
Dolphin mating season, a season to add babies to the dolphin community, in addition to getting to know dolphin food

🎬(1) محمية صمداي
منذ عدة سنوات اكتشف الغواصون منطقة صمداى، جنوب مدينة مرسى علم
بمحافظة البحر الأحمر والتى بها أعداد كبيرة من الدلافين الصغيرة والكبيرة
(حوالي ٨٠ )، الأمر الذى أدى إلى زيادة أعداد الغواصين بالمنطقة
وبالتالى كثرت الممارسات السلبية سواء من القوارب التى وصل عددها إلى ما
يقرب من ٤٠ قارب يوميًا وأكثر من ٨٠٠ غواص وسنوركلر. تمثلت هذه
الممارسات فى: الإمساك بالدلافين، وتغذيتها وإصدار أصوات لمضايقتها. هذا
بالإضافةإلى تواجد القوارب فى أماكن تزاوج الدلافين، مما أدى إلى هروبها
كاملة من منطقة صمداى لمدة أسبوعين حين اشتعلت النار فى أحد القوارب
المتواجدة فى المنطقة.
(1)Sho'ab Samadai Reef
Several years ago, when divers discovered Samadai reefs, south of Marsa Alam city
in the Red Sea Governorate, which has large numbers of baby and adult dolphins
(about 80), that led to an increase in the number of divers.
Consequently, negative practices abounded, both from boats, which reached as many as
40 boats per day and over 800 divers and snorkelers. Those negative
Practices were catching dolphins, feeding them and making noises to harass them.
In addition to the presence of boats in the places where dolphins are mating, which led to their complete escape
from the Samadai area for two weeks when one of the boats located in the area caught fire.

* رحلة الجيب: هي نفس رحلة الكواد بس بنزور القرية البدوية في عربيات 4×4، ودي مناسبة جداً للعائلات المصاحبة للأطفال والناس اللي ممكن تخاف إنها تسوق الكواد في الجبل.
* السوبر سفاري: وده بقى ليفل الوحش 😂 وبيجمع كل الأنشطة مع بعض في يوم كامل، يعني العربيات ال4×4 هتاخدك من مكان أقامتك لسنتر الكواد عشان تعمل لفة بيها وسط جبال البحر الأحمر، وهتستمتع بتجربة ركوب الجمال وكمان العشاء البدوي والسهرة وأجمل الحفلات.
* رحلة السفاري 4×4 للجزي الصحراوي من محمية وادي الجمال، وهنا احنا هنبقى في وسط محمية طبيعية، وممكن نقابل الجمال الشاردة في الوادي وهي نايمة تحت شجر الأكاسيا، وممكن كمان نقابل بعض الحيوانات البرية. ده غير إننا كمان هنزور معبد السرابيوس الروماني في وادي سكيت، واللي اتبنى في العصر الروماني لعمال محاجر الزمرد عشان يتعبدوا فيه.

• رحلة مركب لخليج ومحمية مرسى مبارك: ودي رحلة بحرية جميلة جداً على يخت سياحي لخليج ومحمية مرسى مبارك ودي منطقة قاع البحر فيها ذو طبيعة رملية وغنية بالحشائش البحرية، وده بيخلي المنطقة مأوى لعدد كبير جداً من السلاحف البحرية والدوجونج (تميمة الصفحة لو كنت ناسي). الرحلة دي بتشمل الانتقالات بين الفندق والمارينا ومعدات السنوركلنج اللي هتحتاجها (ماسكات – زعانف – لايف جاكت) عشان تستمتع بوقفتين السنوركلنج المشمولين في الرحلة.
مش بس كده، كمان فيه وجبة مع مشروبات (سوفت فقط) على المركب.
• الغواصة سي سكوب، ودي أحسن اختيار لو مش من هواة السباحة أو السنوركلنج أو حتى الغطس، وخصوصاً لو فيه أطفال، ودي بتاعة رحلة لمدة ساعة ونص على مركب بنافذة بانوراما زجاجية تقدر تشوف بيها العالم الموجود تحت سطح البحر. الرحلة طبعاً هتكون شاملة الانتقالات والسوفت درينك على المركب.
• رحلة بحرية إلى محمية صمداي: ودي كمان رحلة بيخت سياحي بس بنروح فيها لأماكن معروفة بشعب صمداي، ودي مشهورة بتجمعات الدولفين وتقدر تشوف فيها الدلافين وتعوم معاهم، ده غير متعة السنوركلنج ومنظر البحر في حد ذاتهم. محمية صمداي هي محمية طبيعية في وسط البحر، وده معناه إنك لازم تتبع إرشادات المرشد الموجود معاك في التعامل مع الشعب والأحياء البحرية الموجودة. وطبعاً كل معدات السنوركلنج بالإضافة للانتقالات والوجبة والمشاريب هتكون داخلة في سعر الرحلة.
• رحلة بحرية إلى محمية سطايح: من أجمل وأمتع الرحلات اللي ممكن تقوم بيها في مرسى علم، لأنها أولاً داخل حدود محمية وادي الجِمَال وبالتحديد مارينا حماطة، وده معناه إنك في حرم الجَمال والهدوء كله. ثانياً محمية سطايح بنسميها بيت الدولفين، لأن لو كنت سعيد الحظ بمقابلة الدولفين هناك فخليك فاهم إنك هتشوف أسراب كاملة ممكن توصل من 20 ل 30 دولفين وتعوم معاهم. وكالعادة الرحلة بتشمل الانتقالات والوجبة ومعدات السنوركلنج والمشاريب على المركب.
• رحلة بحرية إلى جزر حماطة: في عمق البحر وعلى متن يخت سياحي تقدر تزور مجموعة جزر تابعة لمحمية حماطة داخل حدود محمية وادي الجمال، وهناك هتستمتع بأشكال وألوان من الشعاب المرجانية والأسماك والكائنات البحرية، وكمان هتقابل أشكال من الطيور المهاجرة اللي بتعتبر جزر حماطة نقطة من أهم نقط استراحتهم أثناء الهجرة. وحسب حالة الجو ممكن كمان ننزل على جزيرة منهم ونقضي وقت ممتع على رمالها الناعمة حيث الهدوء التام والسترخاء والتناغم مع الطبيعة البكر. وطبعاً الرحلة بتشمل تنقلات بين الفندق والمارينا والوجبة والمشروبات السوفت ومعدات السنوركلنج.
• رحلة إلى شاطئ أبو دباب: وده من اهم الشواطئ المميزة لمدينة مرسى علم، والناس بتجيله من كل مكان عشان تعوم مع السلاحف والدوجونج المقيمين دايماً في حدوده، الشاطئ مجهز لاستقبال الزوار يومياً وطبيعته الرملية الناعمة بيخليه من الشواطئ اللي لازم ماتمشيش من مرسى علم قبل ما تجرب الاسترخاء والاستجمام فيه. الرحلة هتكون شاملة الانتقالات ورسوم الدخول.
• رحلة إلى شاطئ حنكوراب (شرم اللولي): قطعة من الجنة على أرض مصر، مكان بيبعث على الراحة النفسية وبيساعدك على التامل والاسترخاء التام. الشاطئ موجود داخل محميةوادي الجمال وتقدر تشوف فيه كائنات بحرية فريدة زي سلحفاة منقار الصقر المهددة بالانقراض ده غير النباتات والحشائش وأشجار المنجروف المنتشرة في البحر. مش بس كده، انت كمان هتنزل ضيف في خيمة العبابدة وتجرب قهوة الجَبَنة المشهورة عندهم.
• رحلة إلى وادي قلعان: الشاطئ المشهور بأشجار المنجروف الضخمة المنتشرة فيه، وده موجود كمان داخل محمية وادي الجمال، وحلاوة المكان ده في التنوع الفريد في الكائنات اللي بتعيش فيه، الأشجار الكبيرة والعالية بتعتبر بيئة مناسبة لتوطن أنواع مختلفة من الطيور، ده غير إن الحشائش الموجودة بين جذور الأشجار دي بتجذب أنواع مختلفة وجميلة من الأسماك والسرطانات انها تعيش وتتغذى. زيارة شاطئ القلعان من التجارب الجميلة اللي لازم تقوم بيها.
