Deir el-Bahari Temple (Hatshepsut)

Stories continue about the greatness of Egypt and its ancient history that dazzled the world.. Today we tell a new story and pass through the gate of history to ancient Egypt and a temple from the city of Luxor.. specifically in Deir el-Bahari... in the arms of the mountains amidst the stillness of the place and the nectar of the past... The temple is located Hatshepsut ... on the west bank of the city of Luxor, and it was called in the ancient Egyptian language (Jisr Gesro), meaning the holiest of sanctities.🌹
He designed the temple (Senenmut) and was called the director of Amon's property.
The temple consists of three levels, which are rows of columns.
The temple was built to be the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Where her rituals were held after her death.
Also, parts of the temple were allocated to the king (Thutmose I), the father of Queen Hatshepsut, as well as the idol (Hathor), and an open cabin was allocated to the sun idol (Ra Hor my sister).
The temple was built in the era of the Eighteenth Dynasty, which was characterized by the worship of the god Amun, as well as the interest in building temples dedicated to his worship in separate parts of the city of Luxor, which was a center for the worship of the god Amun at that time. Specifically, it was built in the 15th year of the reign of Queen (Hatshepsut), whose reign lasted for 22 years, and was called to overthrow the Pharaoh Queen.
The temple has statues in the upper courtyard representing the Queen (Hatshepsut) and the god (Osiris), and at the end of the outer stairs, there are two statues on each side in the form of (Horus).
On the walls of the temple are inscriptions of the trade missions sent by Queen Hatshepsut to Puntland to buy incense and myrrh, and to transport wood, trees and rare animals that did not exist in Egypt at that time.
This was a brief overview of the Temple of Deir el-Bahari or the Temple of Hatshepsut.🌹🌹
