When this statue was discovered in 1820, "Muhammad Ali" Pasha, the ruler of Egypt at that time, gifted the statue to the British Museum, but the museum apologized for accepting the gift... Despite the magnificence of the statue, they were unable to do so. It does not provide the budget required to secure and transport it due to its weight and huge size. Britain was the master of the world at that time, and in its hand were fleets of ships that block the sea! In its full size, the statue weighs more than 100 tons.. In Egypt, they found that cutting and transporting it was very expensive.. They found it easy to leave it in place and create a museum around it! ...and I will leave you, dear reader, to imagine how he who made it from the very beginning took him to this place!
This statue, which was seen by the engineer Christopher Dunn in the nineties, and noticed something transient .. that the two nostrils of the statue were the same .. and this prompted him to conduct a study on the face of the statue in 2005 AD. . It has been proven almost complete symmetry in the face of the huge statue, that is, the symmetry between the two halves of the face.. which made it completely rule out carving it with hammers and chisels,There is another way the statue was sculpted that has not been revealed
* The statue is in the Mit Rahina Museum - Giza Governorate
