Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo Temple is situated on the banks of the Nile in the city of the same name.

It was built between 1350 and 180 BC by order of Ramses II. The deity of the temple is Sobek, a god with the head of a crocodile and a human body. Later, as the villagers disliked having a deity representing evil, another god was added to the cult, Haroeris (Horus the Elder).

At the Kom Ombo Temple, you can visit the chapel of Hathor, where we will see very well preserved crocodile mummies.

The Kom Ombo Temple transports its visitors to a world of dreams and is an unforgettable visit, as it is customary to arrive there at dusk and this allows you to enjoy the beautiful night lighting.

Edfu temple

Dedicated to the god Horus, the Temple of Edfu is one of the largest in Egypt (the largest after the Temple of Karnak) and one of the best preserved in the country.

The temple walls have numerous figures, inscriptions and hieroglyphics that provide information about the time when it was built, providing details not only about the temple, but also about mythology, the region and the way of life in Ancient Egypt.
