The largest sand desert in the world 🏜️

The Empty Quarter in the Arabian Peninsular is home to what are known as 'singing dunes'. As billions of grains of sand move and vibrate against one another, a unique and eerie song is produced which echoes for miles over the landscape.

The mother of poison quick sand area in the Empty quarter known in Oman as " um al samim "
This salt march low area used to collect drainage water from Hajar Mountains forming an extremely dangerous area , now there is a dam in the mountains preventing water from reaching it .
Exploring this area was a must! considering the possibility of rain made it a real daring adventure!!!!!

Getting a diesel 4x4 in Oman is not easy , at the last minute i got an Isuzu Dmax with Manual gear and factory suspension ! the plan was crossing 600 km through the Empty Quarter ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
