King Kamose was the last pharaoh of the Seventeenth Dynasty of Egypt, reigning for a brief period of time around the 16th century BC. He was the younger son of pharaoh Seqenenre Tao II and the brother of pharaoh Ahmose I, who founded the Eighteenth Dynasty and drove out the Hyksos from Egypt.

Kamose is known primarily for his military campaigns against the Hyksos, who had been ruling the northern part of Egypt for over a century. His reign was marked by a series of successful military campaigns against the Hyksos, which helped to weaken their hold on Egypt.

One of Kamose's most famous campaigns was his attack on the Hyksos city of Avaris, which was the capital of their kingdom in Egypt. Kamose led an army down the Nile and launched a surprise attack on the city, but was ultimately unsuccessful in taking it. Despite this setback, Kamose continued to press his military campaigns against the Hyksos until his death.

Kamose was succeeded by his brother, Ahmose I, who completed the expulsion of the Hyksos and reunified Egypt under the rule of the New Kingdom. Kamose's reign was relatively short and his achievements are often overshadowed by those of his more famous brother, but his military campaigns played an important role in paving the way for the eventual expulsion of the Hyksos and the reunification of Egypt.

There are some artistic depictions of him that have survived through ancient Egyptian art. These include:

Relief of Kamose at the Temple of Karnak: This relief depicts Kamose wearing the crown of Upper Egypt and holding a mace in his hand. He is shown standing before the god Amun, who is presenting him with a sword.

Statue of Kamose in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo: This statue shows Kamose seated on a throne, wearing the nemes headdress and the royal uraeus. He is holding a staff in one hand and a flail in the other.

Stela of Kamose at the Louvre Museum, Paris: This stela shows Kamose standing before the god Amun, with his arms raised in a gesture of worship. He is wearing a short kilt and a broad collar, and is holding a staff in one hand.

Relief of Kamose at the Temple of Luxor: This relief depicts Kamose wearing the double crown of Egypt and holding a mace and a scepter. He is shown in the company of the god Amun, who is presenting him with a necklace.

These are just a few examples of the surviving depictions of Kamose in ancient Egyptian art.
