Everyone always thinks, “using a travel advisor means it’s going to cost me more money!”

Well I have news for you, that’s not necessarily true! Travel advisors are paid commission. That commission is already included in your hotel price whether or not you use a travel advisor! Crazy, right?!

So, some food for thought: if you don’t use a travel advisor, you’re not really getting everything you’re paying for! 💭

Selfie Sunday! 🤳🏼

This selfie was taken in one of my favorite destinations with two of my favorite travel advisors!

We had the best time in the Dominican Republic and we were able to learn about three incredible properties in Cap Cana! All three offered different experiences and I love that you could travel back to the island, stay at a different resort and it’ll feel like the first time!

While I want to explore so many new places, this is definitely a destination I can’t wait to visit again! 🇩🇴

This may spark some debate, but as a mom myself, I need to know your thoughts on this story!

In my opinion, how terrible of the people shaming this mom. As a travel advisor + a mom I know that we do what we gotta do in these moments.

This is as sad as the people who huff and puff on a flight when a baby cries or when kids are laughing or talking. I firmly believe, there needs to be adult only flights for people like that AND they should have to pay more for that convenience.

Just because kids can be loud and babies cry doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be allowed to fly. I’ve seen some full grown adults loud and feisty on flights…and they know better!

I say this often, but I’ve recently added “as long as it’s clean and there are no bugs, I don’t need 5 stars..”.

So now I have a serious question…

Has anyone ever stayed at a hotel so awful that they either debated leaving or did leave? If so, I want to hear all about it 🤪

And for the record, even as a travel advisor myself, I have some stories that will make you cringe as well as some that will make you laugh!

Growing up, we looked forward to summer to our big family trip to Hampton Beach, NH. By big, I mean, me, my parents & siblings, our grandparents, cousins and our aunt & uncle! We would sit on the beach all day, go to the dog track, go to Maine on rainy days for some shopping and walk the boardwalk at night.

All these years later, it’s still one of my favorite places with some of the best memories, especially now bringing my own children back to show them a piece of my childhood! 🌊

Where did you vacation as a family growing up? Do you still visit that place today?

There’s so much magic, even in the midst of the chaos, but I sure do love it! I was so happy to experience the 50th Anniversary Celebration and I am already looking forward to going back! 🙃
