A field visit to the Graeco-Roman Museum was coordinated by the Tourism Department in an effort to link theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This field visit was coordinated in conjunction with the Tourism Transportation and Tourism Attractions Planning and Development curricula.
The visit is designed to enable students to apply the concepts and knowledge they learn in the course practically. In this field visit, they will practically analyze and evaluate tourist attractions and effectively present them to potential visitors. Additionally, they will recognize the importance of suitable transportation methods for facilitating tourist access to attractions.

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management achieved another remarkable milestone by hosting a virtual session on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, entitled "Sustainable Destination Development: How to Measure Success," presented by the renowned Professor Alastair Morrison, a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Greenwich in London, UK, the CEO of Belle Tourism International Consulting (BTI), the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Tourism Cities (IJTC), and formerly a Professor Emeritus at Purdue University, USA.
Professor Morrison is among the world's top five contributors to academic journals in tourism and hospitality management, with around 300 academic articles, over 50 research monographs, and five leading books on tourism marketing and development.

His valuable insights greatly benefited the staff members interested in sustainable tourism research. Additionally, it enriched students' learning experiences by incorporating diverse teaching styles and methodologies from around the world.

Today, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the college’s Department of Hotel Management organised a scientific trip to the HACE Hotel Expo at the Cairo Exhibition Grounds. During the visit, the students learned about the latest equipment and technologies used in the hospitality industry, which include kitchen and restaurant equipment, furniture, and hotel reservation and management software.
