Today I was very fortunate to have a sneak peek at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
It simply amazing and I can’t wait to visit the rest of the GEM when it is fully opened hopefully in 2024!
Visitors will need at least 1 full day there and maybe more for Museums lovers.
It is the largest museum in the world for one single civilization!

I wanted to be sure to let people know that our experience travelling with Egypt and Beyond was exceptional!

Having traveled to 30 countries over many years, I have never experienced such outstanding service and attention to detail from a tour company.

Starting with the airport pickup, to the expert driver negotiating Cairo traffic and the very knowledgeable Egyptologists in Cairo and Luxor, everyone was wonderful to deal with.

Marwa (Cairo) and Ali (Luxor) are so passionate about their country and we enjoyed their knowledge and company. We had the pleasure of having Nelly meet us at the airport and accompany us at our Nile dinner cruise. She hunted down our lost luggage over two days and managed to get it to us at the Cairo airport as we were departing for Luxor despite the luggage area having just closed for the day. That would never have been possible without her help. She is a credit to your company and an absolute treasure of a person.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough!

On the way from Siwa Oasis to Cairo, we broke the trip by staying an overnight at Marsa Matruh.
We drove that day to Ageeba beach at Marsa Matruh, 450kms north west of Cairo.
Enjoy these amazing pics I took by my phone!

Day 4 Siwa Oasis Trip (last day):
Unforgettable desert Excursion in the desert by 4x4, we swam in a hot spring, did sand surf and ended up with a nice cup of tea at the sunset in the middle of nowhere!
Magical!

Floating at Salt lakes at Siwa, never thought I'd have this much at Siwa Oasis!
I swam before at the Dead Sea in Jordan & Israel side, never had such fun when I did this today with my close friends!
We looked like fools, but you won't feel the fun we had unless you did this!

Day 3, The Oasis of Siwa:
Today we visited the Eye of Cleopatea
Alexander the Great Temple
Mountain of the Dead
Old Shali village
Then we headed to the salt lakes to float on the very salty water, can't swim there!
We ended up the day with a lovely Italian Seafood dunner cooked by our friend Mohamed Hassan ( owner of Siwa Shali Resort), it was so delicious).
I will post later some videos of floating at the salt lakes.
