Egyptian Family Adventure & Red Sea - 12 day tour
Experience an exciting and instructive family adventure in ancient Egypt. Discover Luxor's Valley of the Kings and the famous Pyramids of Giza, ride a camel across Aswan's sand dunes, sail a felucca, and visit a nearby school, all before relaxing on the stunning Red Sea Riviera.
Day 1- Cairo arrival -welcome egypt
Welcome to Cairo and the start of your journey through Egypt. Arrive at the airport, where our representative will greet your family and drive you to your hotel where you can relax tonight in the capital of Egypt.
Day 2- Sakkara/Pyramids
After breakfast, you will travel to the Giza Plateau with your personal guide to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the well-known Sphinx and the Valley Temple that faces the enormous statue. Visit the Solar Boat again in front of the Cheops Pyramid (extra ticket on spot). After lunch at a fine dining establishment, travel to the Sakkara region to see the Sakkara Complex and the first pyramid ever constructed (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis, the renowned Necropolis and capital of the Old Kingdom. Cairo overnight stay
Day 3- Egyptian Museum & Aswan
Check out after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot) Lunch throughout the tour at local restaurant, then moving to visit Saladin Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board – overnight inside your compartment.
Day 4- Entry into Aswan
You will be met at the Aswan train station and taken to your hotel.
Optional (not included): Take a tour of Abu Simbel Temple, one of Egypt's most popular tourist destinations.
Ramesses II, the pharaoh at the time, had it carved out of the mountainside as a permanent memorial to himself and his queen Nefertari. Aswan, spend the night.
Day 5- Aswan Sightseeing
breakfast at your Aswan hotel. Before lunch, transfer to your Nile River Cruise and enjoy visiting the High Dam, the magnificent Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the twin goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the Unfinished Obelisk, which is the largest known ancient obelisk and is situated in the northern section of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. After dinner, spend the night in Aswan.
Day 6- Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Take a breakfast cruise to Kom Ombo, where you can visit the temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haeroris. Sailing to Edfu, followed by lunch on board Visit the Horus Temple in Edfu, which is the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. Drink afternoon tea while making your way to Esna. Onboard, for dinner and the night.
Day 7- Luxor West Bank
After having breakfast on board, set sail for Luxor. Visit the West Bank, go on an excursion to the Valley of the Kings, which serves as the final resting place for 62 Pharaohs, and then stop at the Colossi of Memnon and the El-Deir El-Bahari mortuary temple, which was constructed by the architects of the New Kingdom pharaoh Hatshepsut approximately in the 15th century BC. Lunch served aboard. Take a cup of tea while sailing. Meal served aboard Spend the night in Luxor.
Day 8- Luxor East Bank & Hurghada
After breakfast, disembark from your cruise along the Nile. Transfer then to see the temples in Luxor and Karnak. Transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea in the afternoon. Driving time from Luxor to Hurghada is roughly three and a half hours. Sleep in Hurghada.
Day 9- Hurghada Vacation
tours that are optional but allow you to enjoy the exquisite diving and snorkeling among the coral reefs in the Red Sea and see some incredible, rare fish. Or pick one of the many additional activities, like deep-sea fishing, sailing, or windsurfing. Sleep in Hurghada.
Day 10- Vacation in Hurghada

Day 11- Back to Cairo
After a leisurely breakfast at your Hurghada hotel, you'll be taken to the bus station to board a first-class coach for Cairo (about a 6-hour drive away). Once you arrive in Cairo, you'll be greeted and assisted before being taken to your hotel for some free time before spending the night there.
Day 12- Final Departure
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo – free time before your flight – check out and then transferred to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
