Did a great guided tour of the local artisan brewery today - Althaia cervecería. Highly recommended! Friendly staff and interesting tour followed by equally interesting and unique beers accompanied with local meats, cheeses and sweets (or a vegan option too!) 😋

The Moors & Christians festival has officially started 🎇 with lots of bangs and daytime fireworks. It takes place the 4th weekend of September each year, celebrating the final victory against the Moorish invaders.
This weekend will see impressive parades in the Avenida Rey Jaume in front of the town hall (Ayuntamiento). This year the Moors’ parade will be first, tonight at 8pm and on Monday evening at 8pm it will be the turn of the Christian’s parade.
