The cathedral of Granada... What a magnificent building ❤️ I am in Granada for a few days to take three exams... Even though Granada is closed at the moment for visits, it will open up again soon, and you will be able to explore its amazing buildings. It has a lot more to offer than just Alhambra.

Do you know Conil de la Frontera? A white Andalusian village, in the province of Cádiz and by the ocean... It has a bit of that Arabic feeling you get in Tarifa, and less wind... I just moved here, so I will introduce you to the place here... I think you might like it!!

Parque Genovés is the Botanical garden of Cádiz, named after the mayor of the at that time, in 1892. A lot of the species here come from America and South America. It's really worth a visit, if not just to say hello to all the stray kitty cats living there.

When visiting Cádiz, make sure that you don't miss out on the patios of the many majestic buildings of the city. From the outside they are very pretty too, tall and with their Elizabethan/Renaissance style balconies, open and closed. But the houses keep a secret... Their patios!! Some better restored than others. This is one of them... And there are many more and even prettier 😍

I'm back on the mountain in Tarifa after travelling 10 days. But tomorrow will actually be my last day here because I have to focus on studying for three guide exams in end of October. It has been 7 great weeks here, and I have loved working in and being sorounded by all the greens and all the animals. I will definitely miss it, but I will go somewhere else in November, I just don't know where yet. In October I will be in Cádiz, that is the plan ❤️

Salobreña, what a cute little white village on Costa Tropical in the province of Granada. It has history that dates back 6000 years. The village's architecture and archaeological findings shows that the Phoenicians, Romans, Christians and Arabs have been living there, not the same time though. The village is placed on a hill top and there is a Morish castle on top, build by the Arabs in the 10th century.

Walking in the old part of town is a bit like walking in a labyrinth with the narrow streets and stairs in different levels. And just when you think that the road is finished, just at the end, out of sight, there is a staircase to go up or down to yet another corner that is to be discovered. It's really something and my pictures are not even showing that atmosphere. It must be discovered on your own. I will be back one day. Thank you for having me, Salobreña.

My favourite kind of holiday is the one where I go to the countryside, preferably off grid (as sustainable as it can get). Here I can get in touch with myself through nature, the sounds, smells, views and of course animals 💚

I can't think of a better way of living, and I can't wait till I find the right place for me, so that I can live like this full time... Here is a beautiful Airbnb just outside of Órgiva, in Las Alpujarras, that I stayed in this weekend...

What is your favourite kind of holiday?

Many people just fall in love with Granada at first visit... But somehow the city just doesn't speak to me, like so many other Spanish cities does, and I can't explain why. I suggest you go and have a look for yourself..

This was my second time visiting and my favourite experience was this cute little coffee bar around the corner from where we lived. The coffee was just amazing and the staff even more... It was full of soul and love. Highly recommendable 😍

Next stop after Málaga we went to Nerja... A cute little village east of Málaga. It is mostly a very touristy beach village, but again, it was very quiet now and we just had a stroll through the village and enjoyed a lovely beach time.

Málaga is really pretty and has a lot to offer for all ages... It is one of the major tourist towns in Andalusia, and I do understand why, with its charming streets, historic buildings, lovely climate, good food. And it is also right at the beach. What's not to like? At the moment there are hardly any tourist... I guess that goes for almost all of the world...

I am on a small road trip with a friend these days... You might as well enjoy while you can ❤️ I will share some of the highlights from our tour 🥳

Hiking in Tarifa - there is a really lovely hike on the coast from Tarifa towards Algeciras called . It is about 12 km long and runs to a tower on the coast. On this stretch you have amazing views to Marocco, you can experience several well kept bunkers from the Civil War, you get to experience the power of nature in the water, where the extreme winds and currents in the water have formed the rocks and also trees that turn to the side, all formed by the strong winds of Levante. We did the hike on an extremely windy day, just because we like the feeling of being in the elements of nature...

my Green Andalusia

I would like to invite you to see and experience Andalusia through my eyes. I would like to share with you some of the things that makes Andalusia so special. Andalusia is a treasure and it has a lot of amazing gems. Some of them are its charming white villages, its beautiful nature, its rich history, its amazing beaches and its welcoming and warmhearted people.

I see a need to travel more in alignment with nature. To connect with some of the things that I think we have moved away from over the years in this world. Connections to nature, to people, to animals, to our hearts. We live in a world where everything must happen fast, where we are always busy, always available and always online. What would happen if we disconnected and moved slowly and into nature? My Green Andalusia also aims for more consciousness about the way we choose to live our lives and how we can be inspired to live a healthier and more natural lifestyle, with consideration for nature and the planet we live on.

My green Andalusia tours are for everybody and especially for those of you who:
