The Catalan muralist Carles Arola created this mural in the old town of Tarragona. The façade on Sedassos Square imitates a typical 19th century façade, with traditional characters and open balconies full of flowers. The trompe l'œil was painted in 1995 and symbolizes the traditions and festive parades of the city. We see the painter in a self-portrait together with his wife on the balcony. It’s the most photographed building of Tarragona.
