Finca:
The historic Finca Son Garreta No.1 ( L-shape with windmill tower) is calmly bedded in the landscape of the Es Palmer region. Nevertheless, the sympathetic mallorquine village Campos is only in a few minutes distance same as the most beautiful beaches of the Island. The Finca was renovated carefully by its owners, keeping the minimalistic design style and the typical rustic elements of its time. The practical interieur is following this guideline and involves everywhere the mallorquine marès bricks. The main part of the house consist of an open living and cooking area in the ground floor followed by a bathroom, dressing room and a bedroom under a vaulted brick ceiling. Above in the first floor is another double room, a cosy living area with extra sleeping sofa and a bath room located. The old windmill tower is the precious part of the Finca with a little double room in the tower and a roof terrace providing a gorgeous round view to the sea side and down to the mountains near Palma. The ground floor area connected to the tower has another bathroom, a passage bedroom and the fourth double room with a big old wooden exit door to the pool area. Two big covered terraces are forming the real place of living in the warm weather conditions. Close to the house and kitchen area is a big teak dining table and lounge couches made out of the marès and comfortable cushions. Also the pool terrace houses a big table near the BBQ site. The garden structure is following as well the clear lines of the Finca with old and high palmtrees and other colourful local plants. There is another shadowed terrace inside the green garden, which has an automatic water system. In all directions are wonderful views possible into the fields with olive trees, gr***de apples, oranges and even in the backyard you find some citrus trees, mint and other herbs. Location:
Campos is a typical mallorquine village in 4km distance to the north. Still there are a lot of manor houses with their inhabitants. The central church Sant Julia is worthwhile a visit. Here you find the market once a week, supermarkets, restaurants and much more. This country region has kept its origin and does not show a touristic overflow. The nearby beaches as the famous Es Trenc (5km) and other bays as Cala Figuera, Llombards, S`Almonia etc. and only the half an hour drive to Palma makes this location very attractive for any kind of vacation.
