some of you know that Theresa and I have a place close to Valencia. The pictures that are coming out of there tonight are as dramatic as they are incredibly sad.
They experienced a YEARS's worth of rain ........in 8 hours. Over 90 dead and counting.
Unthinkable in a place we associate with sunny days and fun

Welcome to "El Gaffo" i.e. our little place in sunny Spain. Its 20 miles north of Valencia - fully air-conditioned with 4 bedrooms - 3 x doubles, plus a 1 double bunk bed with 2 bathrooms. - We are on floor 15 overlooking the Mediterranean/Marina in Canet De Berengeur. Its a quiet town, next to a larger one (Peurto de Sagunto) but its really not ex pat- pubs doing full English breakfast with drunk teenagers everywhere.
