The Annapurna Circuit is a trek within the mountain ranges of central Nepal. The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km (100-145 mi), depending on where motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended. This trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna Massif. The path reaches its highest point at Thorung La pass (5416m/17769 ft), reaching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. Most trekkers hike the route anticlockwise, as this way the daily altitude gain is slower, and crossing the high Thorong La pass is easier and safer.
The best time to go to Langtang trek is spring and autumn.. You will see an abundance of Rhododendron blossoms while trekking in Langtang in Spring. You will also see small colourful wildflowers on the wide meadows…

Tserko Ri pronounced as "Cher Gori" is a hill with an altitude of 4984m. You can see the panoramic view of Langtang range from there. It is about 4 to 5 hours hike from Kyanjin Gompa which is the last habitable village in Langtang valley.
From Tsergo Ri you can closely see Yala peak 5,520 m, Langtang Ri 7,205 m. Langtang Lirung 7,227 m, Naya Khang 5,844m. Langshisha Ri Peak (6 427 m) 🗻
ENG: Sunpati flowers are an extremely rare incense ingredient harvested from the Sunpati tree, which only grows in the Himalayan mountain ranges of Nepal and Tibet. When burnt, Sunpati flowers produce a delicate sweet scent that is like no other.
Incense is often used to purify what has been offered on the altar. Buddhists also offer incense to create the causes to have morality, ethics and hold one's vows well.
It can also be used as a medicinal herb for appetite and digestion. And of course for a delicious tea.
It is collected in March and April so during these months if you coincide with the trip, you can enjoy collecting it with the local people.

¿Te gustaría conocer la vida nómada de los pastores de yaks en la zona del Himalaya? Las duras rutinas diarias que siguen estos pastores sherpas cada día, desde que se levantan hasta que vuelven a dormir en sus campamentos de alta montaña, trabajando con sus animales de forma tradicional, como se hace desde hace cientos de años. Sin acceso a tecnologías modernas.
Los Yaks son una especie de vacas muy peludas cuyo cuerpo está completamente adaptado al frío, por eso los pastores de la zona de Langtang suelen desplazarse a una mayor altitud durante el verano, y durante las nevadas del invierno se trasladan a lugares más bajos donde los animales pueden alimentarse en el campo.
Los pastores aprovechan estos meses de verano para recoger los pastos, secarlos y almacenar este alimento para el invierno.
También se dedican a vender la leche a las gentes del Himalaya y a una factoría de alta montaña donde producen deliciosos quesos artesanales de yak desde hace muchos años.
Es una vida difícil, pero ellos la adoran y se ganan la vida con ello, y como son gente muy acogedora les encantaría compartir con vosotros su día a día.
