When we discovered this little apartment ('for sale' in a superb location) we realised it was a real 'diamond in the rough' It needed lots of love and a lot of imagination ... but we were OK with that as we had lots of both.

So with the help of a shipping container, oodles of planning, lots of shopping, superb Spanish builders, a great Italian decorator and a Dutch best friend this 'diamond in the rough' emerged a true Gem .
