If visiting My Duquesa Suites it’s always worth checking out if there are any festivals to visit. Over the last couple of months there has almost been 1 a week. This week there has been Embrujo Festival in Manilva “mysterious nights” where the streets are lit up and dancers/ musicians in the streets. Last night we visited the Festival de Jamon/Ham in Estepona!

The Roman baths are just 3 miles away. Very natural, smells of Sulpher but therapeutic clay on the river bank!

About the area
The region of La Duquesa is a 45 minute drive from Malaga airport to which direct flights from the UK take under 3 hours. As soon as Christmas is done people turn to thinking about summer holidays.. no coincidence that flight prices rise too. Booking early really makes a big difference to the cost of flying.

Well it’s been a while since we’ve posted. Very early this morning some friends arrived at the apartment after a nightmare of cancelled flights and getting lost..
But waking up to this view and a wander down to the port for breakfast has hopefully made it all worthwhile.

Yes its hot in the UK but just look at that pool. Just 25m from our door… oh and we have aircon in the apartment too.
