Top beaches in Mazarrón
📍 The town of Mazarrón is located in a wide bay open to the Mediterranean, with 35 km of coastline. 🏖 It has two important urban centres: the port and the capital of the municipality, 5 km from the coast. 🌊
𝟏. 𝐁𝐚𝐡í𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐫ó𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
Playa De Bahía is a very busy urban beach with a fine golden sandy beach with calm waters. It is 190 m long and 21 m wide. It is a shell-shaped beach, facing south and with a sandy seabed that gradually increases in depth, with no surprises. Its facilities include a kiosk, restaurants and accommodation. Located next to the marina, it is not surprising that its occupancy rate is high.
𝟐. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
Percheles Beach is located in the coastal town of Mazarrón in the Region of Murcia and is a little piece of unspoilt coastline between the border of Mazarrón and Lorca. The beach is part of the hamlet of Cañada de Gallego known for its tomatoes. Percheles is situated between the parks of Puntas de Calnegre and Sierra de las Moreras, where there are many routes to discover this great coastline of the Costa Cálida.
𝟑. 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
Bolnuevo Beach is a semi-urban beach located in the municipality of Mazarrón, part of the Costa Cálida in the province of Murcia. Specifically, it is located at the foot of the Sierra de las Moreras mountain range in the old fishing village of Bolnuevo, which year after year continues to increase its urban area dedicated almost entirely to the tourist sector.
𝟒. 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
The small beach of Nares is located on the road from the beach of Mazarrón to Bolnuevo and belongs to the quieter beaches of the coastal town of Mazzáron. It is easy to find, because it borders directly on the road, where there is also a small beach bar. Here you can park your car and walk directly to the beach with a towel and an umbrella. Playa de Nares does not offer any water sports if you want to be more active. The beach is therefore something for nature lovers. In front of the Chiringuito there are umbrellas and you can rent a proper sofa, to avoid the burning sun, which heats everything here from May until summer.
𝟓. 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
Playa del Alamillo is a Blue Flag beach. With cool, calm waters, it has little sand and pebbles on its shore, which are beautiful to look at, but uncomfortable to walk on. This makes it a very quiet beach with no crowds. This beach has a wide range of services and its level of occupation is average in summer, due to its proximity to the road that surrounds it.
𝟔. 𝐋𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
400 metres of sand are enough metres for everyone to want to go to the largest of the beaches surrounding Puerto de Mazarrón. An urban beach without a seaport, but with a multitude of services such as water skate hire, sailing hire, windsurfing, disabled and bicycle parking, toilets, selective collection containers, footbaths, litter bins, walkways, ramps, restaurants, changing rooms and a children's play area.
𝟕. 𝐋𝐚 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
Urban beach. With bus stop, Mazarrón-Murcia line. It has a lifeguard service in summer. Amphibious wheelchair available. It has a beach bar, sun lounger hire and beach library. La Isla is located about 300 metres from the current coast and in front of it, on the north side, there is a small beach with anchorage.
𝟖. 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🏖
This long sandy beach lies to the west of Mazarrón and is quickly overlooked if you drive too fast into town on the coastal avenue Avenida del Castellar. Locals park their car here on the road and walk the rest. Playa del Castellar offers a perfect service with sun loungers, umbrellas, wooden walkways on the sand, showers, free toilets and has rightly been awarded the Blue Flag as a bonus.
