Located just outside the market town of Orgiva (15-20 mins walk) in the Tijola area of Las Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada, Granada, the 4 bedroom villa is set in the country within a walled garden in a small residential enclave, private and quiet, with a delightful garden and large swimming pool (approx 11.5 x 5.6 m). The newly rebuilt pool has the benefit of a sophisticated automatic pool cover, which

if used correctly keeps the water at a swimmable temperature for all but the coldest months of the year. The pool and dining terraces are also newly tiled as is a shady sunken garden area. There are four bathrooms, an L-shaped living/dining room with mezanine area, fully fitted kitchen with gas hob and fan wall oven. A separate laundry room is located at the rear of the property with a pretty courtyard garden patio. Part of this self catering villa in Andalucia is 200 years old - a wonderful beamed ceiling in the living area reaching up over a mezzanine gallery at the end of the dining area gives character. The roof is newly insulated and all doors and windows are now double glazed which helps to keep the house cool in summer and warm in winter. The furnishing style is a fusion of Bali and Morocco style with splashes of Spanish colour. The views of the Lujar to the front are breathtaking and the often snow-capped Sierra Nevada behind us give another perspective. Furnishings are of a high quality. It's an easy 20-25 mins drive to long stretches of beach at Motril and Salobrena and about 50 minutes drive to the fascinating city of Granada.
