Our Reconquista Camino group arrived safe and sound to Santiago de Compostela!!
They lived 2 intense weeks and faced many challenges, but no one said it would be easy: only it would be worthy! It really was and our dear Carlos Castelhano did a great job as usual!!

Kahlil Gibran “On Fear”

It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.

Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean.

What incredible 2 weeks this last 2 were!!!!

Our 2 groups arrived safely to Santiago on a very sunny Ascension Day!!!
The group from Florida did the PT Coastal Camino and the Louisiana group did our Camino de la Reconquista.

Today was a loooooong day at the office, but our Pontevedra, Florida pilgrims reached Pontevedra, Spain!!!
There were a lot of pilgrims on the PT Central Camino, but the weather was perfect!!!

We entered Spain with spectacular weather and we visited a celtic site from the 1st BC. The sites were incredible and the sky was beautiful!!!

Ultreia y Suseia is a family owned Iberian company specialized in the organization of unique experiences on the Camino de Santiago. We are Yoli and Rui and we met on the Camino Ingles, in 2014.
