We disappeared a bit as the refurbishment is all on us and honestly it’s craaaazy 🤪
But on a positive note 📝 we have done the bedrooms and the bathroom and started to assemble the furniture as well.
Now only the corridor/hall, living room and kitchen left 😂 piece of cake, right?🤣

Today we went out for dinner, really wanted to try a restaurant here. We chose an Asian fusion and had a full dinner with 5 starters, 4 mains, (1 of that was a kids main), 3 sides, 1 dessert, 3 soft drinks and 3 alcoholic drinks. It was delicious, the restaurant looked posh, service was great.
Guess how much we paid? (Later we will share the bill in the comments 😉)

The painting crew today in the kids room 😎😂

Until now we finished our bedroom, started the bathroom and finished the first coat of the kids room 🎨
Tomorrow we finish the bathroom and kids room and then grandma leaves so the process will slow down a little.🫠

4 days instead of the planned 3 🥵
700 km a day proved to be a bit much with the weather conditions and darkness and a 4 year old and lots of traffic on the roads.
So first night in La Mans - France, second in Pamplona and third night in Caudiel (was our absolute favourite).

Making the decision to move to Spain was a difficult one. Buying a ‘project’ flat and moving in while we refurbish was also a difficult decision. But it’s an adventure which we don’t need to ‘survive’ like in London. We actually enjoy it and are excited to see what the future brings.

Today’s project was the easiest part of our apartment - the balcony 🙈
The flat that we bought is in need of a renovation and we wanted to transform at least one tiny bit of it to feel more at home.
We still need to decorate the walls out here and put our herbs garden 🪴 but for now this is the corner of our place where we can enjoy some box free time (everything is still packed up and we’re living out of our luggages 😅) and soak up the sun ☀️

Oh yeah, and Thursdays are market day 🙏🏽😎
