🕰️ Past moments in Can Picafort

⭐The name ‘Can Picafort‘ comes from the nickname of Jerónimo Fuster, known as ‘En Picafort’, the first permanent inhabitant of the place. Around 1860, he came to the lands of Son Bauló, near the sea, and built a refuge in an elevated, rocky area near the ‘Clot des Llop.’ He lived there with his wife and four children until he died in 1883. Over time, the area adopted the name ‘Can Picafort’, which in Catalan means ‘House of Picafort’
