Natural botanical and walnut liqueurs are making a comeback! Join us on our visit to the historic Denoix Distillery, still following the ancient 19th century process. Their Suprême Denoix recipe uses a delicate blend of 5 year aged walnut juice, cognac, armagnac and wood fired sugar syrup. Santé!

Winter is the perfect time to experience Venice – you can saunter freely through Venice's typical narrow alleyways, unhindered by the crush of tourists, leisurely stroll across some of the 472 bridges, enjoy a peaceful gondola ride, drift along the Grand Canal on a half empty vaporetto, visit the stunning Byzantine Saint Mark's Basilica without the usual crowds and nibble on delicious Venetian cicchetti…. We know the best bacari in town…🍷🍷

A wonderful way to spend a winter’s day is in mythical medieval hamlet, Siurana, situated atop a mountain in the Priorat Wine Region.
Located on a cliff edge and nearly inaccessible, it was the last bastion of the Moors in Catalunya.
The legend goes that Abdelazaia, the Moorish Queen, chose to jump off the cliff rather than be captured by the Christian conquerors. In her quest to jump off, she rode her white horse to the edge of the cliff but at the last minute the animal got scared, trying to stop and leaving its horseshoe imprint on the rock.

When on a wine tour in Priorat, this quaint, cobblestoned village affords magnificent views over the various mountain ranges, and is the ideal way to pass a few relaxing hours.
