On the last day we counted with the collaboration of the Migres foundation to show us all the projects that they are working on.
We then went to visit the wind turbine project, where they stop the turbines when protected birds are crossing or getting close, and the Montagu's harriers nest land protection.
Great day hiking in El Estrecho natural park. We saw several Griffon vulture nests (around 30 vultures around us nearby), had a spectacular lunch with great views of Africa.
Visited one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain and its nearby Roman ruins, and finally we saw the critically endangered Northern bald Ibis.
Another great day with great ecologists! We spent the day in the heart of los Alcornocales natural park hiking and learning about plants, fungi, animals, geology and more!! It is such a magical place and more when you finish with a lunch in one of the most rustic and traditional places that you can find in the area. We ate locally foraged wild mushrooms, vegetables from Luisa's garden, wild boar from here, eggs from her chickens and more!!
First day of the week long team building trip with this great trip of ecologist to show the incredible sustainable and ecological projects that we can find in Cadiz province!!

Great presentation and tasting of garum and Roman wines with .
They have recreated three different types of garum sauce including bluefin tuna, three different wines, cheese, beer and more by doing archaeological works in Pompeii, Baelo Claudia and by working with some universities. The results are amazing and I will be happy to organize a tasting of these products with sherry tasting to understand the evolution of wine in the region since Roman times to nowadays and paired with local and traditional food.
Wonderful day with this big group of Canadian real state investors doing a team building activity and they chose to learn about sherry.
It was great to pair 5 different sherries, with different local foods like Iberian ham, payoyo, bluefin tuna, and more with incredible views of Africa in this beautiful Villa.

This year the Bolonia beach, 40mins from Vejer in Cadiz province, has been chosen as the most beautiful beach in Spain. I am sure that it is a little bit subjective but I agree, for me is one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain ❤️❤️

This hike is in La Breña natural park. It is a gorgeous hike along the largest pine forest in Cadiz. This hike is in Los Alcornocales natural park is in the valley of Ojén. The difficulty for this hike is low but it is incredible to be surrounded by so much water and green even in the middle of summer. By adding a little bit over an hour the difficulty changes to medium and you are able to visit the laurisilva subtropical forest. It is really worth it but so you avoid walking over 10km until these hikes start I would recommend hiring a hiking guide with all the permits so the guide will be able to drive you there and enjoy this great hike any day of the month! _____________________________________ Esta caminata es en el parque natural de Los Alcornocales, en el valle de Ojén. La dificultad de esta ruta es baja pero es increíble estar rodeado de tanta agua y verde incluso en pleno verano. Both regions have a similar climate and environmental conditions.
