The resurrection of Casal Can Pau
CASAL CAN PAU·MONDAY, JANUARY 7, 2019·

We found this incredible town house in the center of Mallorca in need of a complete renovation and fell in love with it. We have tried to restore it to its original state preserving the beautiful wooden doors and beam and the old tiled floors and then added a few modern updates such as the bathrooms and kitchen and laundr

y room and then decorated in with modern art lots of details and comfortable furniture to make it homely . But the talking point is most defiantly the restructuring of the patio where we put in a small pool with decking and an under and over chill out area where the balmy summer nights can be spent looking at the stars while enjoying the local wines and a BBQ
We decided to share our home with tourists who appreciate the comforts of being in a village and of a home filled with art and design who do not want the sterile surroundings of a hotel or of a house decorated just for holiday makers.

S’Albufera de Mallorca was declared a Natural Park on January 28, 1988 (Decree 4/1988). It is also a Wetland of International Importance, included in the Ramsar agreement and in the Natura 2000 Network, as a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) and a Site of Community Importance (SCI).

S’Albufera is the largest and most important wetland area of ​​the Balearic Islands, it has a surface area of ​​2,036.23 Ha, mostly wetlands and is located in the municipalities of Muro and sa Pobla. It has a very ancient origin and has varied in size and characteristics according to changes in sea level. Part of the wetland originated in the Tertiary era, but the current wetland was formed less than 100,000 years ago. The littoral dunes are more modern, about 10,000 years old.

Autumn in Casal Can Pau and the catcus are blooming and the beach in Porto Cristo is just as beautiful.

A visit to the beautiful beach at Sa Coma and an excurcion to visit the Castillo de sa Punta de n’Amer.
A great day where sunbathing and exploring can be combined.
There is also a fantastic bar called El Castell that serves lunches, tapas cold drinks and ice creams with magnificent views of the bay of Sa Coma and Cala Millor

El Pueblo Español is an open-air museum located in the Son Espanyolet neighborhood of the city of Palma de Mallorca. Its construction began in 1965 and it was inaugurated on March 9, 1967. They have something for everyone keeping up to date with the children and their favourite characters .
This shop which specialises in home made sweets, cakes and local delecassies just has to be visited when you are in Palma.
