On 4 May, the conference "Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism: Tourism Sustainability from the Perspective of Inclusion" was held, where organisations, businesses and administrations discussed the right to inclusive tourism for people with disabilities.

The conference presented proposals and initiatives to improve the sustainability and accessibility of the tourism sector in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. Improvements in the inclusiveness of tourism spaces are expected in the coming years.

En este encuentro se presentaron propuestas e iniciativas para mejorar la sostenibilidad y la accesibilidad del sector turístico bajo los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible de las Naciones Unidas para el año 2030. Se esperan mejoras respecto a la inclusividad en los espacios turísticos en los próximos años.

This milestone in the history of the automobile led to the creation of the driving test, due to the increase in the number of vehicles in Spain since the arrival of the first car, a Clement-Bayard, bought by Juan Vicente Ribas in Mallorca in 1897. 🚗

"We booked the 5-hour experience tour to get an insight into the real Mallorca far away from the tourists and our expectations were more than exceeded. Far away from the tourist crowds, we experienced the Mallorcan culture and were able to taste traditional snacks of the island. Durante esta época del año hubo un aumento de la temperatura que ayudó en parte a llenar las playas, hoteles, restaurantes y demás espacios pensados para la recreación de los turistas.

Las ocupaciones medias en los hoteles se han situado por encima del 80 % en las Islas Baleares y los aeropuertos españoles tuvieron más de 60.000 vuelos programados de llegada y salida durante este periodo, un 1,5 % más que el año pasado.

¿𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗶́𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝟱𝟯% 𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻̃𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼?

Los hoteles de las Islas Baleares registraron 476.678 pernoctas durante el mes de febrero, las cuales fueron el doble del mes de enero, logrando una aumento del 53,5% respecto al año pasado. También, el número de viajeros aumentó un 70% respecto a enero y un 40% respecto al año pasado. Baleares recibió en sus hoteles a 128.873 viajeros, de los cuales 47.551 son nacionales y 81.322 extranjeros. 🛫

El aumento de estas cifras representan una 𝗺𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶́𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼 que tanto se había deteriorado gracias a la pandemia.
