Our History

Three years ago we decided to set up a holiday home in Spain, following the success of Riverbank Cottage in Litton, England. After travelling the whole Costa Brava we settled on the beautiful town of Tossa de Mar. Many house searches and visits resulted in buying this 1962-1967 house. The image shows the kitchen upstairs. After contracting a local architect Juan Carlos, and the help of our Spanish family (Ignacio, Marta and Mele), we set about the full renovation. What you see now is the result, a lot of heartache, time and love, “yes and money”. The experience has been challenging, rewarding and difficult but we hope now people experience the same love as they did visiting our beautiful cottage.We hope you get the chance to share it with us !
