🐺 Our Modern Walking Tour 🎉 Every Day at 12:00 Noon!

Our Modern Tour gets its name from the fact that it explores the part of central Madrid where you can see many examples of the efforts made by king Charles III during the 18th century to modernise and expand the city.
 
On this tour, you’ll learn about the history behind some of Madrid’s most recognisable landmarks from that era, including The Bank of Spain, Paseo del Prado and The Gate of Alcalá, as well as more recent additions such as the Metropolis building and the Palace of Cibeles.
 
You’ll also learn about some of Madrid’s best art museums - the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen Bornemisza, and visit the house of Miguel de Cervantes, often referred to as the Shakespeare of the Spanish language.
 
Don’t forget to bring your cameras for this fun and photogenic tour of the city.

The four towers (Las Cuatro Torres) are the largest skyscrapers in Spain. The complex’s official name is Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA) and is in what was once the Real Madrid Sports City.

👉🏻 As well as the four imposing towers, nowadays, the area has been decorated with various green spaces and fountains.

Welcome to Atocha railway station! It is the biggest train station in Madrid. It is the main railway station for commuter trains for the city. It is also the first train station in Madrid, was inaugurated on Monday, February 9th, 1851. The Art Walk has a surprise for the visitor: a tropical garden in a train station! .

The San Isidro fairs have arrived 🎉

In mid-May, Madrid presents its most festive and welcoming face. Madrilenians celebrate their patron saint, San Isidro Labrador (his day is May 15), displaying their main hallmark: hospitality. Traditional celebrations, such as the pilgrimage in the Pradera de San Isidro or the San Isidro bullfighting fair, and typical gastronomy, such as lemonade and ready-made donuts, coexist with an attractive program of music and shows spread throughout Madrid 🙌🏻
