1pm Guided walk through La Gare, train Station

Meet beforehand from 12noon to have lunch at Café Choche, located at the left hand end (standing facing La Gare station building).

This Saturday 13 February

9am-12.30pm walk and talk with Sam Walker, Professor of Archeology

THE MELTING POT of the Great Rift Valley and the Red Sea: Egypt, Nile, Mediterranean, Yemen and Arabia – influences from these regions and visa versa. Meeting point: Hilton.

This Sunday 14 February

8.30am Guided walk from Topview Restaurant carpark uphill to visit Washa Mikael rock hewn cave. Be prepared for a 1-1½ hour trek uphill through the eucalyptus trees, the visit will be about an hour, then depending on the group, we will return the same route or another way.

Friday 26-Sunday 28 February

Limalimo Lodge in Simien National Park

A 3 day trip. Flying to Gondar, city tour, followed by drive into the Simien Mountains. 2 nights taking in the stunning views of the World Heritage Site. Spend the day trekking, or just simply relaxing and breathing it all in. Return to Gondar, and fly back to Addis on Sunday
