This well paced itinerary enables you discover almost all cultural and natural attractions of Central & southern Ethiopia Regions together. As you drive from one spot to another, you can also visit the attractive countryside, landscapes, interact with the local people, and see their way of life, ritual ceremony and their interactions with other tribes.

Day 01: Arrival + Addis Ababa
Arrive at Bole International Airport and transfer to Hotel and then, you will have a full day city tour of Addis, visiting the National Museum of Addis Ababa, trinity cathedral church, panoramic view of the capital from mount Entoto where was the former capital of Emperor Menelik II and Merkato, the largest open air market in Africa.

Day 02: Addis - Langano
After breakfast, drive to Lake Langano, one of the seven lakes in the Great Rift Valley, on the way visit the stelea field of Tiya (UNESCO World Heritage Site, registered in 1980), When you get at Lake Ziway, you will spot various species of water birds like: Yellow billed Stork, Marabou Stork, Great White Pelican, Great White Egret & Little Egret, Goliath & Grey Heron, Hamerkop, Sacred Ibis, Egyptian Goose and Spur-Winged Lapwing along the shores of lake Ziway and Langano. Day 03: Langano - Halaba Kulito
After breakfast, drive to Alaba Kulito and on the way, visit Abijata-Shalla National Park, where you can observe different wild animals, such as Ostriches, Gazelles, Warthogs and others…. After lunch, you will visit the tribal people of Halaba who are noted for their beautifully painted houses and hat, the visit includes the magnificent colourful traditional house with their typical hat and their weekly crowded market. Day 04: Halaba Kulito – Arba Minch
Today, you will drive to Arba Minch visiting the Wolita and Dorze people, known for their cultivation of Enset or False Banana (from which they prepare a local pancake); the Dorze people are renowned for their huge huts and colourful cotton clothes.

Day 05: Arba Minch - Konso
In the morning, you will have a remarkable boat trip on the rift valley lake of Chamo to visit the ‘crocodile market’ where you can see display of large African Crocodiles, hippopotamus, and low land water birds, and then drive to Konso. O/N at Kanta Lodge
Day 06 – Konso – Turmi
Drive south to Turmi visiting the villages of Konso people who are renowned for their fortified villages, colourful hand-woven cotton clothes and beautiful rock terraces. (If the day is Thursday, stop on your way at Key Afer to visit the most colourful multicultural market in the Lower Omo Valley, where the tribal groups of Ari, Benna and Tsemai meet to exchange different objects. Day 07: Turmi – Omorate - Turmi
In the morning, you will have an excursion to Omo Rate to visit the Dasenech people who are the southernmost people of the country and are known for their scarification, and then in the late afternoon, you will visit the village of Hamer people whose women are noted for their typical hairdressing, and leather skirts.

Day 08: Turmi - Jinka
After breakfast, drive to Jinka and along the way if the day is Tuesday, you will visit the most populated market of Alduba where you can see the tribe of Bena. When you get in Jinka, you will visit the Ethnological museum of south omo where you can see the objects of 16 Ethnic groups at the lower Omo valley.

Day 09: Jinka – Mursi Village - Jinka
Today, you will have an excursion to Mago National Park and visit the people of Mursi who are typically known for the clay lip plates of the women, then drive back to Jinka and have lunch and then in the late afternoon, visit the tribe of Ari nearby the town of Jinka.

Day 10: Jinka – Arbaminch
Drive back to Arbaminch with a stop at the villages of the nomadic people of Erbore or Tsemai who are one of the tribes found in the southern part of Ethiopia and the typical people who build their houses in papyrus. O/N at Paradise Lodge
Day 11 – Arbaminch – Addis
Fly back to Addis, when you get back to Addis Ababa, you will have time to visit some other attraction sites and do shopping in some souvenir shops. In the evening before departure, you will have a fare well dinner party at one of the best traditional restaurants where you will see the folkloric dance of the people of Ethiopia and taste the variety of Ethiopian meals.
Then, be transferred to the airport for your departure.
