Every society have their own way of the salutation, whenever they meet each other as well as when they admit a guest who come from another place.
As other society, The Sidama people have their own last longing tradition which inherited from the former fathers.
They admit a guest with a courtesy word saying'Daawoe bushshu' (welcome) in Sidaamu afoo with a great bliss.and give heartwarming welcome and hug to show their longing and love to the guest,which deserve a great majesty.

He is admired musician in sidamic music, optimistic as well as freedom fighter up to his death.
And he contributed a remarkable achievement in musical career by flourishing Sidaamu afoo and he infused his music with a sense of Patriotic sentiment, in order to protest against anarchy government, despite the time is not essential to emancipate.
