The Fincha Habera waterfall is located in Ethiopia. It is a beautiful waterfall that attracts visitors with its scenic views and relaxing atmosphere.
The Bale Mountains National Park's stunning landscape was formed through a combination of geological processes over millions of years. The park contains a range of habitats including afro-alpine moorlands, forests, and valleys. The dramatic landscape of the park, with its cliffs, gorges, and plateaus, was shaped by volcanic activity, erosion, and tectonic movements. Erosion from wind and water played a significant role in carving out the valleys and gorges we see today. The park's unique geology and diverse ecosystems make it a truly special place to visit and explore.

The Bale Mountains in Ethiopia were formed through a geological process involving the convergence of tectonic plates. The region is part of the East African Rift System, where the African Plate is splitting apart. This has led to the uplifting of the land and the creation of mountain ranges, including the Bale Mountains. Additionally, volcanic activity in the area has also played a role in shaping the landscape over millions of years. The combination of these geological forces has contributed to the formation of the stunning Bale Mountains that we see today.

07/02/2024

The Death’s-head Hawkmoth( Acherontia atropos) is attracted to the smell of human skin and it will often land on people. The moth will then insert its long proboscis into the person’s skin and suck their blood. This can cause a number of health problems for the person including anemia, infections, and even death. The Death’s-head Hawkmoth is considered to be a serious pest and it is important to avoid contact with this moth.
I presume they were mixing some half truths with the " vampire moths" of the Calyptra genus but either way it’s troubling that misinformation like this is being spread around on the web as truth and promoting negative associations about a group of animals that are already unpopular with many people.
