The Banna people, also Banya, are an OMOTIC ethnic group in Ethiopia that inhabit the Lower Omo Valley, primarily between the Weyto town and Omo rivers. According to the 2007 census, their population is around 47,000 people. They engage primarily in agriculture and supplement this by Pastoralism, hunting and gathering.
Banna children are known of the plays stilts. Children of the Banna tribe in Ethiopia with traditional body painting, playing on wooden stilts.
