This family had amazing luck (and fishing skills) on their Ice Fishing Adventure! 🎣

Looks like the kids were the true fishing pros of the day! The final score? Plenty of cathes for the kids, 1 for mom… and, well, zero for dad! They tested out different techniques, but it’s clear the kids found the magic method. 🐟

Back with another edition of Meet the Guides, today we're spotlighting Jovan!

Originally from Serbia, and having grown up in Austria, Jovan has joined the Wild Nordic team in Rovaniemi for his second season with his wife from Poland.

A professional mechanic by trade, Jovan has been working the last three years in the tourism field as a rafting, glacier boat and snowmobile guide. His favorite things are the cold, boxing, fixing machines and making extraordinary experiences filled with a lot of jokes and fun for tourists.

While the snow situation in Rovaniemi has been difficult to manage, we are still operating 1-hour snowmobile safaris! We've also opened up additional time slots for the weekend (December 7th & 8th) with departures leaving at 12:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00!

More details to follow as we closely monitor the weather and snow conditions here in Rovaniemi. Thank you!

Dear Wild Nordic Rovaniemi Customers,

Due to challenging weather conditions, we had to unfortunately cancel several of our snowmobile tours during the first week of December.

Insufficient snowfall makes for treacherous conditions, and with your safety and satisfaction being our primary concern, we made the responsible decision that we believe is the greatest benefit to you.

As such, we are diligently working through a backlog of changes and refunds and will be in contact with you regarding their status and updates as we process them.

We appreciate your understanding and patience and apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused you.

We get quite many questions from our guests who are worried if it will be dark during their safaris🌛

During the polar night it will be dark most of the day. However it’s not pitch black during the entire day, as there is twilight at noon. Also, the snow on the ground offers some light and the moon shines bright.

The sun doesn’t rise above the horizon for several weeks during December and beginning of January. But as we always say, the darkness can be an experience itself.
