Toutain, tämä mystinen kala👀 Välillä niin nirso ja niin haastava kala saada siiman päähän. M***a kun vihdoin saat sen ottamaan, niin on kyllä mahtava kala siiman päässä🥳 Sinä iltana yritettiin saada toutaimet ottamaan erilaisiin vaappuihin, spintaileihin ja jigeihin. Kalat seurasivat vieheitä kuitenkaan ottamatta niihin. Avain onneaan sinä iltana oli Rapalan uusi blade-bait eli Rippin Blade kovaan kelattuna, silloin alkoi vihdoinkin Okuman ITX CB:n kelan jarru laulamaan ja sitten se oli menoa😎

Asp, this pretty mysterious fish👀 Sometimes so picky and so challenging to get them biting. But when you finally get the bite, it's a great fighter on the line🥳 That night we tried to get them with different lures, spintails and softbaits. The fishes followed all the lures without taking them. The key to success that night was Rapala's new blade baits the Rippin Blade and reeling it qu**ky, then finally the Okuma ITX CB reel brake started to sing and the best moment began😎

Merikin tarjoaa tällä hetkellä monipuolista kalastusta😁 Päivän aikana saatiin kaikki tavoitelajit mitä lähdettiin hakemaan, sekä hyvä nippu ahventa ja kuhaa sai ottaa vielä kotiin😋 Tervetuloa kesän reissuille, kelit hellii ja kalat ovat aktiivisia🥳

Also the Baltic sea is currently offering diverse type of fishing😁 During the day we caught all the target species we were looking for, and a few perch and zander were taken home for food😋 Welcome to the summer trips, the weather is nice and the fish are active🥳

Merellä silakkahauen perässä sisämaan asiakkaiden kanssa. Pääsivät kokemaan uudenlaista kalastusta merellä, kun haetaan isompaa haukea ulkomeren laidalta. Hienoja ja rajuja tärppejä kirkkaassa ja matalassa vedessä. Päivän isoin kala painoi 7,6kg ja sillä saatiin saamamiehen ennätyshauki uusiin lukemiin😎 Onneksi olkoon vielä tätäkin kautta, varmasti unohtumaton kala💪Päivän ehdoton ykköstykki oli Rapala X-Rap Peto pienemmässä koossa, eli 14cm uutuusvärissä Mr Sparkles (MRS), sillä kaivettiin eniten kalaa ja isoimmat. Se imitoi kivasti silakkaa ja kokokin on oikein passeli kun hauki on silakan perässä👌
Kevätkausi on nyt ns. paketissa, pikku breikki juhannuksen ajaksi, m***a ei hätää ensi viikolla startataan uusi kesäkausi järvi-sekä merikeikoilla😎 Iso kiitos vielä kaikille kevätkauden asiakkaille ja yhteistyökumppaneille🙏

Fishing at sea for these herring eater pike with clients from the lake area. They got to experience a new kind of fishing at sea, when you go for bigger pikes from the edge of the outer sea. Crazy and hard bites in clear and shallow water. The biggest fish of the day weighed 7,6kg and it was a new personnal best pike for the customer😎 Congratulations again for the fisherman, it was for sure an unforgettable fish💪The absolute number one lure of the day was the Rapala X-Rap Peto in the smaller size (14cm) in the new colour Mr Sparkles (MRS), with which we get the most fish and the biggest ones. It imitated the herring nicely and the size is just perfect when pikes are eating herring👌
The spring season is now over, a little break for midsummer party , but don't worry, next week we will start the new summer season with lake and sea fishing trips😎 Big thanks to all the customers and partners of the spring season🙏

Tällä reissulla pistettiin taas useamman asiakkaan enkkoja uusiksi. Päivän tähti oli 92cm kuha, joka oli muuten päivän avauskala, montaa minuuttia ei mennyt aloituksesta ja suurkuha oli jo haavissa😁 Asiakkaat ihmeissään että mitä täällä oikein tapahtuu😅 Pari päivää aikaisemmin luodatut alueet eivät pettäneet ja päästiin heti tositoimiin. Kalaa tuli kivasti pitkin päivää ja jokainen sai kotiin vietäväksi kuhafilettä välikoon kaloista. Vesille lähdettiin kahden veneen voimin, Extreme Fishing Finlandin keikalla, kiitos että sain olla mukana. Kesällä on muuten vielä hyvin tilaa kalenterissa, kalat ovat aktiivisia ja kelit suosivat😎 Kannattaa siis olla yhteydessä. Luvassa ahvenen, kuhan ja hauen kalastusta erilaisia tekniikoita hyödyntäen. Syksyn reissuja kannattaa myös nyt varailla, syksy on kiireistä aikaa ja tilaa ei tule olemaan kaikille halukkaille, joten ole nopea jos haluat tulla kokemaan kalastuksen kulta-aikaa kanssamme. Syksyllä kalastetaan ahventa, kuhaa, haukea ja meritaimenta🎣

On this fishing trip, several customers brokes their personnal best. The star of the day was a 92cm zander, which by the way was the opening fish of the day, not many minutes after the start and the big zander was already in the net😁 The customers were wondering what was going on here😅 The areas was scouted a couple of days earlier, it didn't disappoint and we got right to the honey hole. The fishing were nice all day long and everyone got to take home a few zander fillet from mid-size fishes. We went out on the water with two boats, at the Extreme Fishing Finland fishing trip, thanks for letting me be part of it. Kudun jälkeinen tankkaus voi olla ajoittain melko hurjaa kuhalla, silloin kun kalat ovat palanneet syönnösalueille. Päivän aikana mitattiin kaksi pisintä kalaa ja ne olivat 96cm ja 94cm. Paras tapa rentoutua pidemmän keikkaputken jälkeen asiakkaiden kanssa on lähteä itse kalaan kaverin kanssa😎

The post-spawn activity can be crazy at times in zander fishing, when the fish are back into feeding areas. We took the lenght of the two longest fish of the day, they were 96cm and 94cm. The best way to relax after a long week of work with customers is to go fishing with my friend😎

Päivän ensimmäisestä spotista tarttui hieno ja vahva 99cm hauki, joka oli päivän avauskala😁 Ihan ei mennyt metri rikki tällä kertaa, m***a kala tarjosi hyvät rallit💪 Tämä jäi tällä kertaa päivän isommaksi ja kappaleita tuli tämän jälkeen reilu 20. Onnistunut päivä vaikka olosuhteet olivat merellä haastavat hauenkalastukseen.

From the first spot of the day, we caught a nice and strong 99cm pike, which was the first fish of the day😁 We didn't break the meter mark this time, but the fish offered a good fight💪 This time it was the biggest fish of the day. After this fish, the customers caught over 20 fishes. A successful day even though the conditions for pike fishing at sea were challenging this day.

Hauen kalastus oli koko viime viikon tuottoisaa, kalatastajia vieraili 20kpl ja jokainen niistä sai useamman hauen, oli ensikertalaisia ja kokeneita konkareita💪 Alkuviikon kalapaikat olivat muutaman päivän päästä täysin hiljaisia ja kalojen eteen sai opas tehdä kovasti töitä. Vedet lämpenivät todella nopeasti, etenkin matalissa merenlahdissa ja syövät hauet olivat selkeästi siirtyneet lähemmäs kesälaitumia. Päästiin kuitenkin juonesta kiinni ja syövät kalat löytyivät🙏 Tällä viikolla lämpötilat hieman laskevat, tuuli yltyy ja vedet vähän sekoittuvat. Tämä tarkoittaa sitä että veden lämpötila hieman laskee, ja se on vaan hyvää kalastukselle👌 Hieno viikko taas tulossa😎

Pike fishing was productive all last week, 20 fishermen/women visited us and each of them caught several pikes, there were first timers and experienced 💪 The best fishing spots of the beginning of the week were completely quiet after a few days and the guide had to work hard to find the new areas. The waters were warming up really fast, especially in the shallow bays and the feeding pike had clearly moved closer to their summer spots. However, we got the hang of it and found feeding fishes🙏 This week the temperatures will drop a little, the wind is getting stronger, warm and cold waters will mix together. This means that the water temperature will drop a bit, which is good for the fishing👌 Another great week is starting now😎

Kiireinen ja helteinen opasviikko aloitettiin komealla 106 senttisellä hauella 😎 Hauki oli tämän viikon teema, sitä kalastettiin tällä viikolla kolmella eri paikkakunnalla mereltä sekä järveltä.

Viime viikolla mentiin vihdoinkin hienossa kesäsäässä😎 Kiireinen viikko oli kaikin puolin onnistunut. Oppaan loihtimat ateriat saivat paljon kiitosta, kalastus oli pääasiassa hyvää pitkin viikkoa, poislukien yhtä päivää jolloin tehtiin kovasti töitä saadakseen kaloja veneeseen asti, kova työ kuitenkin palkittiin. Parhaana päivänä haukia nousi veneeseen noin 40kpl ja ennätyksiä rikottiin moneen kertaan päivän aikana🐟 Eniten jäi mieleen viikolla saatu 8 kiloinen hauki, joka oli jo hyvin tankannut kudun jälkeen. Ruokakuhaa lähti myös kiitettävästi asiakkaiden matkaan, tietenkin valmiiksi fileroituina, valmiina paistettaviksi😋Tästä kevätkausi jatkaa aurinkoisena🌞Kysy vapaista päivistä jos haluat päästä vesille, nyt on paras sesonki meneillään😎

Last week we finally had some nice summer weather😎 A busy week was successful in every way. The meals coocked by the guide were much appreciated, the fishing was mainly good throughout the week, except for one day when we worked hard to land a few fish on the boat. On the best day, around 40 pike were landed and customers personnal best were broken many times during the day🐟The most memorable fish of the week was an 8kg pike, which had already eating well and very thick after the spawning season. Customers also get food size zanders, of course filleted by the guide after the day and ready to be fried at home😋 The spring season continues sunny this week🌞Ask for free days, if you want to go fishing, the best season is now😎

Kelit ovat olleet viime päivinä erittäin mielenkiintoiset, lähes kesäiset kelit vaihtuvat lumikuuroihin ja pohjoistuuleen😅 Kalastus muuttui hieman haasteelliseksi, m***a nyt taas kalojen aktiivisuus alkaa piristymään. Jännä taas huomata miten kalojen aktiivisuus vaihtelee paikasta toiseen saman viikon aikana, oikeastaan ääripäästä ääripäähän. Saman päivän aikana yksi järvi saattaa olla täysin jumissa ja 5km päästä toisella järvellä on todella kova syönti. Tänä vuonna on tullut kalasteltua alkukaudesta 7 eri järvellä sekä merellä eri alueilla, joka paikasta on löytynyt hyvin kaloja. Toisissa paikoissa ollaan osuttu raivosyöntiin kun taas toisessa paikassa kalojen suut ovat pysyneet tiukasti kiinni vaikka mitä tekisi. Siitä syystä käymme jatkuvasti testikalastamassa eri paikkoja, jotta asiakkaille pystytään tarjoamaan parhaan mahdollisen elämyksen kalastusretkillämme. Tehdään paljon taustatyötä m***a kyllä se sitten palkitsee kun asiakas lähtee päivän päätteeksi kotiin hymyssä suin🙏 Ensi viikolla on luvassa vihdoinkin lämpöä ja kalat varmasti aktivoituvat, joten hyvää kalastusta on luvassa. Kuvien kalat tulivat yhdellä hyytävän kylmällä testireissulla, kalat olivat melko passiivisia koko päivän m***a muutamat nätit saatiin kaivettua esille. Testattiin samalla uusia ensi syksyn uutuusvieheitä ja varsin hyvin kalat kelpuuttivat niitä. Niistä lisää myöhemmin... Työkaluina hauelle okuma guide select big bait 120-190g paritettuna okuma komodo ss:llä. Kuhalle vavaksi okuma guide select vertical casting 20-70g ja kelaksi okuma hakai. Ja hei vaikka ei siltä tunnu, niin kolmen viikon päästä on kesäkuu, eli kevätsesongin paras kuukausi kalastuksellisesti😎

The weather has been very interesting in the last few days, with almost summery weather changing to snow showers and northern winds😅 Fishing became a bit of a challenging, but now the fish activity is starting to be better everyday. It's been exciting to see how fish activity varies from s place to another in the same week, actually from one extreme to the other. On the same day, one lake might be very challenging and 5km away on an other lake the fishes are feeding very hard. This year, I've fished 7 different lakes and different areas of the sea since the beginning of the season, and find good numbers of fish in every place. In some places we've experienced crazy fishing with super active fishes while in others the fish's mouths have stayed firmly shut no matter what you do. That's why we are constantly test fishing different places, so that we can offer our customers the best possible experience on their fishing trips. We do a lot of work but it's rewarding when the customer goes home with a smile on his face🙏 Next week it's finally going to be warmer and the fish are going to be active, so we're in for some good fishing. The fish in the pictures came from one of the coldest test trips, the fish were pretty passive all day but we managed to catch a few nice pikes and zanders. At the same time we tested the new new lures for next autumn and the fish bite to them quite well. More about these lures later... And even if it doesn't feel like it, in 3 weeks it will be June, the best month of the spring season for fishing😎

Retken nuorimmainen näytti taas muille mallia miten hauet kesytetään, sai päivän isoimman kalan ja eniten kappaleita, laskuissa ei enää pysytty m***a loppupäivästä meni muiden ohi vauhdilla💪 . Kukaan ei jäänyt ilman, sillä kolmeen mieheen asiakkaat väsyttivät noin 35 haukea veneeseen asti. Hauen kutu oli vielä pahasti päällä ja suurin osa kaloista vaan seuraili vieheitä. Kohta alkaa hauilla kudun jälkeinen tankkaus🥳 Vielä löytyy vapaita päiviä kevään parhaalle sesongille🐳 Tervetuloa kyytiin🚤

The youngest of this fishing trip showed the others how to fish pikes properly, caught the biggest fish of the day and also win the number competition, the pace was so fast at the end that we couldn't keep up with numbers anymore💪 . Nobody was left without catching fishes, 3 guys landed around around 35 pikes to the boat. The pike spawn was still in and most of the fish were just following the lures. Soon the post-spawn feeding will start properly🥳 There are still free days for the best spring season🐳 Welcome aboard🚤

Tehtiin testireissu todetakseen että isot kuhat alkavat pikku hiljaa heräämään talvihorroksestaan, sekä kiinnostumaan kiihtyvää tahtia vieheistä. Jokunen nätti saatiin huijattua, päivän parhaaksi komea 98cm ja 10,5kg 🐳 Kalat olivat vielä nirsoja pitkän talven jälkeen, m***a nyt syönti vain paranee kun vesi hieman lämpenee. Testattiin uutta Okuman settiä isolle kuhalle ja nyt löytyi kyllä täydellinen setti tähän hommaan, menee kyllä heti ykkösketjuun😎 Kelana uusi Okuma Hakai dt ja vapana Okuma Vertical Cast 6'6'' 20-70g. Isommat kuhat purivat kaikki Rapalan CrushCity Kickman 5". Kuhakausi on kohta kuumimmillaan🥳

We made a test trip to see that big zanders are slowly waking up from their winter hibernation, and are getting more and more interested to bit the lures. Some nice ones were caught, the best of the day was a crazy 98cm and 10,5kg 🐳 The fish were still picky after the long winter, but now the feeding is only getting better as the water warms up a bit. We tested the new Okuma set for big zander and now we found the perfect set for this job😎 The reel is the new Okuma Hakai dt and the rod Okuma Vertical Cast 6'6'' 20-70g. All the biggest zanders bite to the Rapala CrushCity Kickman 5". The prime time season for big zander is now just around the corner🥳

Nyt on kaikki iskussa ensi viikolla alkavalle opaskaudelle💪 Vene on nyt huollettu kaikin puolin ja saanut jopa uuden kuosin😎 Hauet pureksivat testireissulla Storm Boom Shad VMC:n Mustache Rig:illä höystettynä. Ennätyspitkä talvi on nyt selätetty, viimeiset lumen ja jään rippeet ovat ensi viikolla historiaa. Jos et ole vielä varannut kevään reissua, tee se nyt! Keväällä on ison kalan aika, viime kaudella mm. pisin asiakashauki oli 124cm ja 95cm kuhaa nousi peräti kolmelle eri asiakkaalle. Ennätykset paukkuivat kymmenillä asiakkailla viime vuonna ja se on päätavoitteemme tänäkin vuonna. Tervetuloa kyytiin🎣

Now we are ready to start the new guiding season next week💪 The boat is now fully serviced and even has a new look😎 The pikes bit on the test trip Storm Boom Shad with VMC's Mustache Rig. This crazy long winter is now behind us, the last snow and ice will be gone next week. If you haven't booked your spring trip yet, do it now! Spring is the time for big fish, last season for example the longest pike for my client was 124cm and 95cm zanders were landed for as many as three different clients. Personnal best record were broken by dozens of clients last year and that is our main goal again this year. Welcome aboard🎣

Käytiin avaamassa avovesikausi Italiassa kun Suomessa jäät vielä estävät kalastusta monessa paikassa. Onneksi 1-2 viikon päästä kausi alkaa täällä Suomessakin🙏
Olosuhteet olivat pahimmat mahdolliset monnien jallittamiseen, lämpötila tippui 10 astetta tulopäivänä, jatkuva sade ja 1,5 metriä noussut jokivesi ei tehnyt kalastuksesta helppoa. Mallikalat saatiin sekä paljon oppia näistä makean veden monstereista. Nyt vihdoinkin valmistaudutaan alkavaan avovesikauteen täälläkin ja päästään aloittamaan opaskausi🥳

We started the open water season in Italy when in Finland the ice still prevents fishing in many places. But finally the season will start in 1-2 weeks here in Finland too🙏
The conditions were the worst possible for catfish fishing, the temperature dropped 10 degrees on the day of arrival, constant rain and 1,5 meters high river water did not make fishing easy. Vielä on pilkkijäitä jäljellä ja muutama reissu tullaan vielä varmasti tekemään jään päältä. Tällä hetkellä ollaan pilkitty merellä ahventa, kuhaa ja haukea. Loppukaudesta käydään vielä varmasti järvillä jokunen reissu heittämässä. Tosiasia on kuitenkin se että avovesikausi kolkuttelee jo nurkan takana🙏 Kevään venereissuja myydään nyt kiihtyvää tahtia, joten jos haluat olla mukana karkeloissa, niin kannattaa ottaa yhteyttä.

There are still some good ice and a few more trips will certainly be made from the ice. At the moment we have been fishing at Baltic sea for perch, zander and pike. The rest of the season will certainly be spent fishing on lakes. Päivän mietteitä sumuisilta jääkentiltä. Kuhaa mielletään pilkkiä usein haarapyrstö-tai piikkipyrstöjigeillä, vaan harvoin näkee ihmisten kokeilevan lapiopyrstöisiä jigejä. Kuha ei talvella kestä äkkinäisiä liikkeitä, joten jigin mallilla ja värillä on usein ratkaiseva merkitys. Kyseinen kala hylkäsi piikkipyrstöisen jigin, sen jälkeen tarjosin sille samankokoisen ja värisen Rapala Crushcity Kickman, ainoa ero oli siis pyrstössä ja silloin kala teki ostopäätöksen. Kannattaa siis kokeilla erilaisia juttuja, jos tuntuu että kalat eivät kelpuuta tarjottuja vieheitä.

Today's thoughts from the foggy ice fields. Zander are often fished with fork tail or spike tail jigs, but rarely do you see people trying paddle tail jigs when ice fishing. Zanders cannot withstand sudden movements in winter, so the design and colour of the jig is often crucial. The fish in question rejected a spike-tailed jig, I then offered him a Rapala Crushcity Kickman of the same size and colour, the only difference was the tail and this minimal thing make the difference this time, the fish hit the paddletail jig very hard. So it's worth trying different things if you feel the fish don't like the lure you offer to him.

Ahvenen kulta-aika on täällä🥳 Ahven on parveutunut ja käy välillä hanakasti kiinni. Kyseisestä paikasta asiakkaat onkivat reilussa vartissa yli 60 ahventa. Syönti yltyi niin kovaksi että saatiin useita kaloja peräjälkeen pelkällä jigipäällä, siis pelkäällä koukulla ilman jigiä😅Osa kaloista päästettiin takaisin ja osa otettiin talteen. Tästä 15 minuutin syöntipiikistä opas fileoi päivän päätteeksi noin 4 kiloa nahatonta filettä kotiinvietäväksi, eli noin kilon verran jokaiselle😋 The golden age of perch fishing is here. There are now big schools of perch and they seems to be very hungry at the moment. From this spot, customers caught more than 60 perches in 15 minutes. The feeding was so strong that several fish were caught in a row with just a jig head, yes only with a hook and without soft baits on it😅 Some of the fish were released and a part of them was taken for food. From this crazy 15 minutes of fishing, the guide filleting aroud 4 kilos of skinless fillet to take home at the end of the day, so around one kilogram for everyone😋
